The Big Squeezy

Don’t get the super green. It tastes like watered down cucumber juice. Not good! I went back and asked the employee if it’s possible to exchange it for another one and he said no since I already opened it.

Ordered the purple rain smoothie. What I got for $10 was lackluster (watered down, sour, and not very good). Asked for a refund after taking one sip and cashier tried to tell my husband she can’t refund something that has been tasted… the refund was ultimately granted by manager on duty but this place seriously has a lot of room to improve.

Omg easily the best green juice I’ve had in my life! My fiancé loved his smoothie. Visiting from Los Angeles for a wedding. There are SO many options of green juices, smoothies and açaí bowls. Definitely come here!!!!

This place has the worst management I’ve experienced. Three attempts to eat there.The first attempt, waited in line, just to find out at the counter that they were out of Açaí. You were not able to keep it frozen.Second attempt, went there and they decided to close three hours early.Third attempt, their website states 9 AM open. Went there at 9:15. Complete darkness inside.I do not know how they stay in business.

8/8/2023If you would like a smoothy made with angst and sadness, this is your place! The cashier/bitter lady was super short and cold. We placed our order of 2 Banana berry blast smoothies then waited for 15 minutes. There were zero customers in the store when we arrived. After 10 minutes, we heard the blender start. Literally sat and liquefied for 5 minutes. What we recieved was a bland, watered down mess. Almost no flavor and zero texture. For $10 each, we had hoped for better. I struggled through half of mine and the wife had 2 sips and was done.I'm sure there are better options in the area.

Could be the worst run shop in the crossroads. I've tried to go 4 times in the last 6 months and have walked away empty handed each and every time. I've heard we are out of juice, they didn't have the 2 juices I wanted, they had a sign on the door that said went for coffee be back in 15 minutes and my favorite someone making juice said he didn't know how to ring me up but the person just ran an errand and would be back soon. Once, hey I get it. Twice, it happens...but 4 times? And it's not like I'm coming at the end of the day looking for juice and they are out. Both times were before 1:15pm. And this isn't a new trend, over the last few years I'm probably 20% successful on buying juice as they only make it in batches and don't seem to remake until the next cycle even if it is a top item.

Was generally disappointed with the product... I asked for a classic acai bowl with no granola (since I was informed there are nuts in the granola and I am allergic). As I started eating, I found granola in the bottom and the acai was frozen. Not fresh, not made to order, and they had a large list of cleanse juices but only had 3 in stock.

It's disheartening to see the rating of this juice bar be downgraded an entire star due to a negative review by someone who sounds like they've never even stopped in to try it.Sam ironically got the information incorrect after speaking about others "using common sense" -- the Big Squeezy IS local, not a chain, and its offerings are a perfect fit for the Crossroads vibe. In my opinion, they serve the best açai bowl in the greater Monterey area. Their juices are good as well. Everything is fresh, healthy and very tasty. The people behind the counter have always been really friendly.This Carmel resident is glad the Big Squeezy is in town!

First time in today... got a superhero smoothie. Excellent, fresh, big meal replacement size. Love that there's stuff in there to chew on, not just juicy sugar water. Definitely will be returning.

Great smoothies a bit on the expensive side but they are huge!
