The food was decent but the service was extremely poor. We did not even receive water when we got seated for a while. Then we requested water and was only given a bottle of Evian that was $9. Other tables received glasses of regular tap water as they got seated. I'm not sure why we received such horrible service and treatment. The waiter was very curt and stern with us. Would not recommend.

I enjoyed my food at Yafa, the service was nice but the decoration was a bit dated and run down. There was dust on several of the areas and it did not feel as clean as you would like. The prices were a bit on the high side and I did not feel lik ethe quality reflected that. Overall this was an enjoyable meal but I would be hesitant to return.

We enjoyed Yafa's. The staff is very professional, friendly, and attentive. We enjoyed the dolmas which were excellent, the Lebanonese & Greek beer, lentil soup, Greek salad, and kebab plate. All of the ingredients were very fresh (the romaine in the Greek salad is the freshest and sweetest romaine I've experienced). The atmosphere was very cozy. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience. We will be back soon, and would recommend.

They have enough vegan options for me and ample options for non-vegans. It was a great meal after a long day of travel. The wine list was smaller but very good! Will definitely go back.

The restaurant seemed to be experiencing a staffing issue. The staff seemed to be rushing around, but the food took a long time to arrive. When it did get there, it was quite good. It wasn't amazing Michelin star level, but it was good and we enjoyed ourselves. It just took a while.

This hidden gem is not to be missed. Take a chance and venture off the main drag to try out this charming restaurant with as good meal as we've had over the years in Carmel, charming, intimate atmosphere, family run, excellent service and food. They could really use more business. I would hate to see them close. we will definitely return to this restaurant our next trip to Carmel and thereafter.
