This was so bad. My wife and I were here for our baby moon and ordered the watermelon salad, the okra dish and an artichoke. When we sat down, we were asked still or sparkling water. We said still, assuming they meant tap water. We were charged more than my beer for an already opened (prefilled and recorked) water bottle. The artichoke was forgettable, the watermelon salad was fine…just cubed watermelon with feta, olive oil and pine nuts for too much $ but the okra was the worst. Too acidic, with a pita bread from Safeway that might have been heated in a toaster. We were charged close to $90 for this. My wife and I had to leave this place and get second dinner at another spot

Exceptional flavors in the vegetarian dishes that make you polish the plates although portion sizes are a bit on the smaller side. The butternut squash ravioli is a must have! In addition to the food, the wonderful hospitality and ambience makes this a great experience.Vegetarian options: Butternut squash ravioli

We went in for dinner. The meat skewers were surprisingly disappointing, with chicken overdone and lamb being under. The staff tried reasoning that we should have mentioned of we like our meat done specifically, but couldn't justify overcooked chicken. The concern raised went without conversation/redressal, and the meal ended with complimentary Baklava. This felt sort of inadequate and uncared for. Nothing we ordered stood out (mishmich chicken, Greek salad, vegetarian ravioli) too - although it was cooked just fine

Incredible flavors. Got the mint tea and baba ganouch for appetizers, great flavor on both but baba was a little smoky. Jewish lentil soup appetizer was great as well. But the butternut squash ravioli, in a butter sage sauce, was absolutely incredible! Such delicate incredible flavors, and the texture of the noodle and squash filling was just impeccable. Best ravioli of my life! Finished off with chocolate cake and Turkish coffee, we will be back!

I came in on a Monday night for dinner and had a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant has beautiful stained glass Turkish lamps, the food was outstanding, and the owner was very friendly. He made several recommendations from the menu, all were great, as well as keeping an engaging conversation throughout the meal. I particularly enjoyed the kafta meatballs entree as well as the butter sautéed dates for dessert (tasted just like the inside of an almond croissant). Although I’m only in town for 5 days for work, I’ll be returning - the food and experience were that memorable.

Our meals were fine, average at best. Very surprised they have a Michelin star. Had their homemade baba ganoush and Labneh with warm pita, also their mixed pickles, grilled artichoke salad, and chicken kabobs… again it was all fine but very underwhelming as we have been spoiled with similar dishes that were far more delicious at non-Michelin restaurants… and expected so much more this time.

Marvelous Mediterranean flavors! Excellent octopus, House lamb beef pasta so delicious. Mamas meatballs with saffron rice perfect comfort food. The Beirut pudding dessert was an amazing surprise. Loved the silky smooth texture together with orange blossom infused honey and pistachios, ? Wow!

The service was great, but food was not stellar. We realized weve cone tk expect a great deal from Mediterranean restaurants as most are excellent. With its Michelin certificate on the door we were expecting creativity and panache. It was OK but nothing exciting or memorable. On the plus side the butternut ravioli were scrumptious.

I've enjoyed this restaurant in the past, but was disappointed by the taste of the food last night. I remember Yama being better, but have not eaten here in two years. First, let me start by saying the service was great. They are always smiling and eager to please, which counts for a lot. However, having been raised on Lebanese and Middle Eastern food, I found the labne, zaatar, and my eggplant dish to be Average at best. The entrée portion on the eggplant was more like an appetizer size and not worthy of $31. (The dish is mostly tomatoes and eggplant!!!). My wife had the chicken and was unimpressed. I haven't checked with my other two dining partners, so maybe they raved about theirs, but one of them had the same dish as my wife. Again, solid service, poor value on the food.

Food was absolutely phenomenal. Flavoring was as good as you'd expect for a Michelin rated restaurant. Portion sizes are generous. Decorations were cute. For the price, hard to beat such amazing food — the apricot glaze on the Mishmish chicken was to die for.
