Local gem in Caruthers. Great small mom & pop restaurant. Easily the best Onion rings I’ve had in fresno. Great burgers too. During lent season i eat fish on Fridays and decided to try the fish tacos and Clam Chowder special on Fridays. The fish tacos were okay, nothing special, think it would be better served with smaller corn tortillas and more sauce. However the clam chowder took me by surprise, loaded with cheese and bacon in a bread bowl. Very delicious and will be getting that on Fridays when i get the chance to. 6$ for a loaded clam chowder bowl! Highly recommend.

The turkey sandwich was soo delicious! Nice amount of mayo, good toppings. Nice presentation since it was cut into 4 pieces with a toothpick to hold it together. My go-to for when im craving a good sandwich. Good first impression on the food, next time might need to try the malts, hopefully they have a coffee one!

Live in Az and almost every time we visit we have to make the 30 minute trek out there to have their food. Chicken salad my wife orders is hand breaded and John’s seasoning and it is great , chicken is moist and so good . Burgers are always juicy moist and seasoned well. The shakes are generous sized , and Elaine’s desserts are very very good . Anyone near Fresno needs to make the trek south and west or Dos Okies, it is always worth the trip! You don’t know what you are missing!
