For the past 7 years, Carnitas Michoacan in Ceres has been my go-to spot for carnitas, buche, chicharrón, and their weekend-only menudo whenever I’m in the Modesto area. They also offer cost-effective family packs to choose from. This place is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Michoacan-style braised pork!
Went in to get family dinner everyone satisfied except for me! Got their chicken wet burrito. Terrible! Don't recommend! If u want a good wet burrito go to LA Morenita restaurant. It had very small diced chicken marinated in something nasty! Really garlicky, salty & hard! To top it off it was all rice! Could only stomach 1/4.
Tiny, hole in the wall place with EXCELLENT food! YUM!! Carnitas are delicious, rice is tender & tastes so dang good - the smoky salsa they serve with chips is mouthwatering!!
