La Cascada Mexican Restaurant

I decided to support small business today and ordered a plate of green sauce cheese enchiladas with rice and beans to go. There’s nothing authentic about the flavorless slop I received. The sauce was flavorless and had a grayish color to it. The rice, was like a 2 out of 10, and the beans weren’t any better. They need to step it up.

I been coming here for years since I was a kid. This is my family's favorite place to eat. My favorite is the number 11. Or even just the wet burrito in red sauce. The food is always fresh and hot , lots of flavor. The service is great and I also recommend their breakfast.

This review is long overdue! I’ve been coming to La Cascada since I was very young, back when the restaurant was across the street in the Save Mart Shopping Center. My parents used to bring me here as a child, and now, as an adult, I continue the tradition by coming often with my husband and our little one, especially on Sundays.

We are always greeted with wonderful service from Rosa and the entire La Cascada family. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. The food is always delicious, it never disappoints. The flavors have stayed consistent over the years, and I appreciate that they’ve kept the same amazing recipes that made this place special decades ago.

If you’re wondering what to order, I highly recommend the “Jose's Special” with bell peppers and onions, it’s full of flavor and one of my favorites. If you’re in the mood for soup, the albondigas are absolutely to die for. For something lighter, the chicken Tapatia salad is fresh, flavorful, and always satisfying. And if you’re craving something traditional, the red enchiladas are hands down some of the best you’ll ever have.

And don’t leave without dessert! I highly recommend the fried ice cream it’s loaded, indulgent, and absolutely worth the cheat.

This is and always will be our forever favorite Mexican restaurant. Thank you to everyone at La Cascada for the excellent food, warm hospitality, and for being a place filled with wonderful memories over the years.

Very authentic Mexican food. They had combo plates, specials and a la carte menu items. They even had a kids section on the menu. The staff is very helpful and nice.

It's great when Ur in the mood for Menudo that U can get it 7 days a week. What's the best is that it tastes as if Ur own Mom or Grandma was in the kitchen making it. & Make sure that U get the gordita corn tortillas they're the best .Also, they make the best shredded beef red chili enchiladas.
