I’ve been here twice before and really enjoyed everything. However, I am back today and they completely changed from a sit down restaurant that takes your order and “serves” you to a now walk up, place your order, and sit wherever. This takes away the motivation to tip them as they aren’t really providing me with a service. My big heart wouldn’t let me not leave a tip, but it was definitely not earned. Whoever had this awful idea, please refrain from making further decisions in the future. WILL NOT be returning in the future. They have lost what could of been a very loyal customer.
P.S. maybe the person who decided to switch things up could have put that energy towards the parking situation or should I say lack there of. Good luck trying to find a parking.

Tonight we went to Loza to celebrate a birthday. The staff Lulu, Gabby and Evencio were amazing. They were friendly and so helpful. The food and drinks were amazing!!! They made the birthday celebration feel so special. Thank You!!

I think the overall atmosphere is the best part of the restaurant for me. It's very different than most other alternative restaurants around. Food is regards to taste is okay, not my favorite or go to, and a little more on the pricier end for the type of foods. My wife really liked this place though, both food and atmosphere. We shared a few plates and had our own entries and none of them gave me a wow factor. Nonetheless, it looks unique inside.

This is a very busy restaurant, especially on the weekends. We met some friends for lunch who were visiting from out of town. We made a reservation for our party of 5. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated after our arrival. The food came out fast and tasted great. The service was good, however no one ever came back to check to see how everything was after we were served. Thankfully the only thing we were missing was the dressing for the salad. It's a beautiful restaurant with a nice atmosphere. We will keep coming back.

And today I finally decided to go with my family. The worst experience I have had in a restaurant. Disastrous! Awful! Worst. I don't know what more adjectives I could give to this horrible food and to everything. Well, I'm going to start step by step why it is something that the people, the owners and administrators of this business should know. Today, January 22, we are in winter. It dawns at 0 degrees or freezing point. And the place has no heating. It's a refrigerator inside. Like being inside a refrigerator. After that we ordered 1 strawberry mimosa and 2 sodas. The mimosa tasted good until I realized they put a rotten strawberry in my glass. That was already a sign of what was to come. I should have left but I wanted to give myself a chance to try the food that looked very attractive in photos. I ordered 2 Rib Eye 12 Oz, an avocado toast and a banana foster… The meat was disgusting!!! They brought it cold! One bad taste and the other tasteless! Frozen meat that was not Rib Eye. A meat full of nerves everywhere. Inedible!!! Awful! Filthy! Hard as a rock! The worst of the worst... I have gone to the best restaurants in California and throughout the United States and this has never happened to me. The price is not a problem. And it would never be if it is for quality food, in a good place, in a pleasant atmosphere and with good service. This way you pay what they charge you without any problem. And it forces you to tip generously. But for garbage like this they gave me, they don't deserve anything. I hope that the more than 70 million views I have on my Google posts help this business stop scamming, stealing and abusing people like this. It's a shame that I'm not intoxicated to have reported them for something more than putting them on the public map. I don't recommend it to anyone! And never, ever, in this life or the next, would I return to this place. Neither gifted nor invited nor in any possible way will I return. Outside of that, they charged me more than 150 dollars for this garbage of inedible dishes for 3 people since my wife did not want to eat. My son left his entire plate and my daughter couldn't eat that Tostada either, which was super spicy. Banana Foster is also prepared with black bananas that are already out of date. I say it again, don't go and I don't recommend it. The worst thing about this place. I haven't visited anything this bad in all of Modesto, in the Bay Area, in California and in all of the United States. An apology would be the least to expect or an explanation of what happened to that disgusting meat they served.

So yeah it’s a nice place and all but I wasn’t too satisfied with my meal. 1st we order the calamari app, they are literally basic frozen calamari sticks deep fried lol, and they were $20 bucks. Then I got the seared salmon. It was way over cooked so that made it dryer than a cracker. The one in Turlock is good, this one not so much. Way too expensive for what they putting on a plate.

The atmosphere is great, the service is great. 36+ for one piece of chicken some instant mashed potatoes and asparagus which was not on the menu it was broccolini. They didn't even ask if it was ok ( What if someone was allergic.) Their drinks are beautiful tho!
