Brownsville Station Cafe

We stumbled upon this Cafe going to the Mountain festival. Absolutely delicious food, great conversation, and watching the chef pick fresh herbs to make the food just elevated the experience!!! 100% must try!!!

Amazing food, even better service. Can’t beat it for a tranquil mountain cafe. All the vegetables are fresh and grown on site. It was perfect because i could also buy rare succulents for my wife at a great price on my way out traveling through. What a great garden!!

The food was great, but my Mushroom gravy was too salty for my taste. Hubby loved his burger! Had a nice visit with the folks dining next to us.

The food is absolutely exquisite. All of the vegetables are fresh from the garden. The place is quaint and cozy... The atmosphere could use a little sprucing, but if you're looking for decent food up in the middle of nowhere, this is the place !! The prices are Goood & Jacob is a gem. We tried their desserts. It was something called vampire cookie. It was such a Delectably creative sandwich cookie i wish i could have it 7 days a week. The parking was great because it's right in front... I wish they had more of an outdoor dining, but there was a table outside if you wanted to eat out there... The menu is creative and something for everyone on there... The food has such a delicious flair That I see myself going back just for the experience... The place is.

Drove up from Marysville on a Saturday afternoon and had a really great lunch. I had the BLT and my significant other had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich. Both were incredible & the garlic fries didn’t disappoint. Loved the vibe inside, old country music, photos of miners on the walls and all the other decor of the era. We will definitely be back!

Everything was wonderful except for the dog hair or eyelash I happened to find in my food. Had to dock them a star for food for that unsanitary indicator.

We went here to eat and we waited almost an hour for food while it wasn't very busy. After receiving our food we found multiple hairs in our food. When we addressed the issue the cook argues with us. He was not wearing any type of hair masks and had very long facial hair which matched the hair found in the food. We left without finishing any of our food because we were disgusted. They still charged us for the food even when shown the hairs.

Ran a work event not too far from here and had them provide lunch for our employees. The food did not disappoint. Everyone said lunch was amazing. One person stated that they have worked events in the past but this was the best lunch he can remember in 5 years. Others said they are bring their families for lunch. I myself thought the food was delicious with fantastic portions. I will be back soon. This is definitely a hidden hem in the hills. Thank you so much for the amazing food and positive experience.

Tried the Carolina BBQ sandwich and the Rueben. Both were sooo good! And the garlic fries! You’ve got to try them! I was in garlic heaven.

We have fallen in love. This place is a must, to visit. The food is unbelievablely delicious. And you get a short History lesson from the walls.
