We came here after hiking to the peak of Mt. Lassen and were very happy we stopped by. I got the general tso combo plate and it was hella good. Great prices, great service, and food that smacks with great portions. Hidden gem in Chester for sure!

Was looking for your classic Chinese food and found it here at Bings! We’ve been searching for years for a place like this. Awesome portions, reasonable prices and fantastic combo choices. Highly recommend!!!

I placed an order for pick up and was ready when they said. I love the wonton soup, calamari and the shrimp tempura roll. Very filling.
Went in today and order the caterpillar roll and it was yummy. On Saturday came to the restaurant for dinner and I ordered the Benito box, it was fantastic. Portions are huge. Hubby got the burger and it was so big he couldn't finish it. And he said this burger is so much better than the burger he normally gets in town. This place will be his favorite burger spot.

Food was bad. Service was very slow. 3 people and one child. Each plate of food was 15-20 minutes apart. We asked for a small plate for the 2 yr old. I had to ask twice for the small plate, which was brought after the 2nd dinner plate was delivered. They bring 3 different menus to you..America, Chinese and Thai. Every dinner was made with a chicken breast that was overcooked.
They would be better off if they picked one menu and learned how to cook it well.

The food is great. The staff are great. The portions are large and the prices are excellent. We came back from Lassen National Park and they were closing. They still fed us. The owner said she can't let us leave in a small town hungry. You have to eat here if you are in Chester or nearby.

I’ve been coming to Chester and Lake Almanor for over 20 years and am so happy to have discovered this Bistro. It replaced a diner that was here before so there is a diner vibe , but that doesn’t change the fact that there Chinese dishes are Fantastic and Fast! We got Chinese Sweet & Sour chicken, and chicken chow mien. Also the Japanese style Yakitori- skewered chicken (teriyaki) and the Happy Dog (sushi roll) with a large white rice. Everything was so good that we ordered a second of the sweet and sour chicken. The prices were just right to make everything taste even better, because all of that was on $81.00 which is a good value compared to a ton of other things that are more expensive in these beautiful mountain towns. Our server was great and they even have a separate area that is open to small dogs. The portions were large enough to be family style so we could share them. They had a really big diner style breakfast menu that may bring us back in for another visit on this trip. We will be coming here again for sure.

I sushi menu is extensive and absolutely delicious. The Chinese menu is limited but the food is wonderful, crispy eggrolls, fried rice and sesame chicken where on point. Can't wait to try more and the service was exceptional!!
Was so good, we went back a second time. We were in the area 2 1/2 days. SUPER friendly stadf!

Considering there aren’t many options in Chester explains a lot. Bings was recommended to us by a couple of folks so we decided to stop in for dinner.
First things first, the menu is huge. Overwhelmingly huge. It seems like they have yet to find their niche. Chinese, Japanese, American. I can imagine it is difficult to have all of the ingredients on hand, let alone fresh ingredients.
Food was out in .5 seconds and it was nothing to rave about. Service was ok, but the waitress was unable to accommodate my requests which was disappointing.
My suggestion would be to condense the menu to improve the quality and consistency of the food.
Prices are reasonable & the locals seem to love Bings.
