Casa Diaz has been around for a long time and moved to this location a few years back. Food is still amazing. This location is much bigger and they have a bar.

Great place with terrific food! Only issue would be that the Music is very loud at Lunch on the day we were there which made it difficult to hear and had we all had to speak more loudly. Udder than that, it's terrific 😀

Way loud! Very loud bar in a small space. Went on a Friday night 7:30pm to have a couple of drinks and appetizers. Shrimp Pica is just ok. We won’t be ordering it again. They should consider offering a shrimp ceviche tostada. The Queso fundido is well made and worth it. They had a DJ in the bar. We couldn’t hear the bartender and she couldn’t hear us. Main area was full. Drinks are worth the visit. Service was quick. Bar was less than half full. Hopefully next time it’s just enjoyable music since ppl aren’t dancing. We left quickly as we just got tired of the very loud music.

Pretty good food for outrageous prices. This spot was keeping up with inflation prices well ahead of everyone else 😅

My first time here on Sunday and it was phenomenal. We got Ube margaritas to start and they were delicious. One of the best margs Ive had. I got barbacoa tacos with consome added beans and rice. Did not disappoint. They were delicious. Had a good amount of protein inside. The beans and rice were perfect which is hard to find at restaurants. Our server was also fantastic! I will definitely be back in the near future. I'm so happy we found this place.

I have a theory, in two parts. If the decor is too well done, the food isn't, and if the decor isn't stereotypical, the food is going to be some modernist, fusion nightmare. Not the exciting kind, the kind steeped in regret.
This place shatters all expectations. The decor is familiar if you have roots in a Spanish speaking country, but not in the stereotyped way. Like your most glamorous Tia opened a exquisite supper club that's impeccably decorated, modern, and cohesive. It's both relaxing and exciting to walk inside. Peaceful and energizing. I don't know who pulled that off and how but they nailed a whole vibe.
We missed hotel breakfast and today is a lazy day after weeks of chaos. For me that means one thing: find cafe de olla someplace with great food. They nailed that too.
Right off the bat, their chips are fresh and delicate and their salsa has a nice but mellow bite. Normally I'm shoveling a tablespoon or adding some salsa picante of some sort to even taste like salsa but this I had to be a little restrained. Perfect.
The cafe de olla smells like heaven when they bring it to your table and will instantly revive you. Will will come in handy at the end of your meal because the portions are massive. Luckily breakfast is served until 2, so we weren't too late.
My husband got the chilaquiles roja, which were delicious. Their papas guisa that come with the breakfasts are so delicious, as are the refried beans. I had the huevos con chorizo which was incredible. Just what I needed to start my day.
Just as a metric, yesterday I got a very mediocre sandwich at Corner Bakery which was nearly the same price and about 1/3 as much food. I took home my leftovers and it's enough for an entire other breakfast.
The only thing I could complain about is their eggs in the huevos con chorizo are cooked a little more thus a little dry than I'm used to but that's a family choice thing. My husband got scrambled with his chilaquiles and they were much lighter and fluffier. And the chorizo tends to deflate eggs anyway. It's literally just a preference thing and what you grew up with.
Others mention the cafe de olla is very sweet. Ours was too. It wasn't distractingly so, but I do have to watch my blood sugar so I couldn't finish mine. But it was delicious and made me happy so it's a fair sacrifice. Just a chance to practice some moderation, and too much caffeine makes me jittery anyway.
They have some really delicious and authentic things you don't find on other menus, and I am super tempted to go back tonight for dinner because they have an Ube margarita that sounds like the most amazing kind of fusion and I need to try it. And a shrimp dish on the features board on the table that I also want to try.
Plus they have a bunch of delicious looking Appetizers.
Definitely will come back when I'm in town because it's not just a great meal (and it is 1000% a great meal), it's an experience and a flawless one at that.
Such a perfect way to start our day.

Some of the best Mexican food in town.
The atmosphere is very relaxed, yet happy. The music is loud enough to allow for great conversation. Service is courteous, helpful, and friendly. The food is great and the portions are just right not too small, not too big. Just the chips were not the best… they got to get/make better chips. We had a great time because we were not rushed and drinks were good.

The food here is really good, but our service was meh 😕
The server was cordial but it's like we were tolerated instead of welcomed, you can tell she was just doing her job like a robot. I would only come back for the food and hope that I would receive another server.
Food - get the carne soup that is something that's one of a kind and so delicious. The first taco was good it's not big but on a regular sized homemade tortilla, the enchilada with green sauce was good the chicken was a little tough but overall it was decent. Good and salsa are great. They advertised a DJ on Friday night so I'm sure it gets crowded.
