Food was overcooked/fried and tough to chew. Small portions including sides (fries/onion rings). Very disappointed as 20 years this was at least a twice a week lunch spot. Perhaps it was just an off day or the cook can't cook beef?
Come here for the steak and eggs! Terry was the best waitress and the dining area was clean, cozy and quiet. Definitely a hidden gem and long standing restaurant for 60 years for a reason! Prime rib available Friday - Sunday, but don't hurry in too soon because I don't want it to be crowded 😂

I love how the waitresses make you feel like you are there everyday. It's that small town, friendly service that keeps me coming back and telling friends about The Doodle.
