Got the barbacoa and carne asada burrito it tasted homemade. It wasn't bad, the meat didn't have a smell or taste weird. I've never had barbacoa de borrego so I don't know what to compare it too. I would come back to try birria and probably other things :)
After reading the reviews, you either love it or you hate it. It's a mom & pop shop. The waitress seemed nice & friendly, she took care of us. Ordered the steak picado it was great. Meat was cooked perfectly. The sauce, onions, and peppers were also great. The flour tortillas were freshly made. Ordered the birrari taco's and a taco salad which were also great. We were there on a Friday night and looked like some family and others were going to start the karaoke....
