I recently visited El Rey after not living in the area since I was very young. I would come to El Rey every Sunday after church. Walking in it was just like I remembered everyone very welcoming and the smell! This family- ran establishments offers a large variety of authentic Mexican dishes and agua frescas. My favorite thing to order at El Rey is the Burrito de asada with a jugo de melon. They also offer a side of fresh complimentary beans. You are able to enjoy your meal inside or on the front patio. El Rey is a restaurant I recommend to all if they are around the area and looking for authentic Mexican food.

Oh man this is my childhood right here. This place has been here for yearrrrrssss. I got the menudo it was amazing. The food was amazing BUT service not great. I hadn’t been here in years and they don’t explain where to get the food, you don’t know if is yours for a fact . It was frustrating in that aspect
