Looking for a delicious, no shortage on the good stuff, family owned hardworking people kind of place? Look no further than Flo's Airport Cafe! We recently visited for the first time and were blown away by the amazing food, great portions, and incredible prices. As a family owned business, they truly go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. Although the staff may be small, they are mighty and work tirelessly to provide top-notch service. So, be patient and kind when visiting. Trust me, it will be worth it! We loved Flo's so much that it may become a weekly tradition for us. #FlosAirportCafe #FamilyOwned #GreatFood #HardworkingStaff #SupportLocalBusinesses #ChinoEats #DeliciousDining #WeeklyVisit #SmallButMighty #PatienceIsKey

Food was delicious and service was wonderful! Would recommend coming early as it's a small location and if there's a large party, you would be looking at a wait.

Went to Flo's Airport Cafe with my son after visiting the Planes of Fame museum recently. The place reminds of the diners and truck stops I knew & loved growing up on a farm in rural Illinois; nothing pretentious or fancy, just a place for some good greasy food and breakfast all-day. The first thing I noticed upon entering, the place was packed, which is always a good sign. The second thing I noticed was that the place seems to be overdue for some deep cleaning. I am not some prima-donna, I grew up eating sandwiches while sitting on the ground during planting and harvest season, but I do prefer restaurants to be somewhat clean. The waitress we had was great and very friendly in that diner waitress way. I got the Denver Omelet with biscuits & gravy and added SOS (old military habits die hard). The food came out fairly quickly, but despite my high hopes, I have to say it was not quite as good as I was expecting. To say it was bad would be a huge step too far, but definitely lacking something. I know the owner is a former Naval cook (thank you for your service, sir), hence the SOS on the menu and I am also a veteran who has had many servings of SOS through the years, both in and out of the military, but this did not even come close to resembling any SOS that I have ever had. Again, it was in that weird spot where I can't say it was "bad", but something was just not quite right with the consistency of the meat and gravy. I had also heard that they were famous for their pies, so we ordered a Blueberry Pie to go. The flavors on the pie were fantastic, the upper crust was perfect, but the bottom crust was soggy because the filling was way runnier than it should have been. The bottom of the pie box was soaked by time we got home and, after taking out the first slice, I had to "drain" the pie tin because there was literally an inch of juice. All-in-all, I will probably go back, we go to the museum pretty regularly and it is convenient, and future visits may prove this experience to be an outlier. My only final thought is on a sign in the main dining area. One does not need to be a genius to guess where the owner's political affiliations lie, but it seems a bit much to have a sign that says "Merry Christmas to everyone...except Gavin Newsome" , which is neither witty nor clever, not to mention it was the middle of freakin' March - at least change it to Happy Easter if you absolutely MUST have a dumb political sign up. Maybe focus on improving the food so that the next time I go, I will walk away so amazed by the food that the sign won't matter. TL/DR: Food: 6/10 - not quite as good as expecting Service: 9/10 - friendly waitress, fast service Value: 7/20 - a little pricey for remote diner Politics: 0/10 - just cook better food

Great food and always friendly people working at Flos.
It's the same now as 50 years ago. Reminiscent of military memories, from 70 years ago when everybody seemed to be on the same side, fighting for the same thing. People on both sides of the counter are mostly hard working, proud AMERICAN PATRIOTS. I feel safe there.Parking: More than enough.Kid-friendliness: No playgrounds, but the people are great with kids.

Opted in for a big breakfast on Sunday morning. We got seated right away. Small restaurant with lots of seating. It was busy with families and friends enjoying their morning. My man's go-to is the Country Breakfast sunny side up with hot links and his hash-browns smothered in biscuits and gravy. For me, it's the veggie and cheese omelette. Hash-browns were soft, crispy and my biscuits and gravy was savory. It was quite a big meal for me.
