Today is the first time we have eaten here. I was happy to see that place has a similar menu to Long John's Silver. I got the combo with two chicken, one fish, and chips. One of my fish mainly was the batter. Overall I enjoyed my combo. I like how they offer bottles of malt vinegar, salt, ketchup, and tartar sauce if you dine in. They have a few booths inside so you can eat in. I overheard that due to the increase in their lease, they cannot afford to keep the place running, so they will have to close down someday in June. My wife and I hope to eat one more time before they close their doors.

I was so looking forward to eating here since our local H salt restaurant closed down. I drove around 30 miles one way even. What got was the biggest disappointment e er! I don't know who writes the reviews must be the ow ers I think. This place charged for everything. You could taste how old the grease was. I ordered fish and jumbo shrimp combo. I did not know that you could get imitation shrimp it was mostly crab like Ian's they used the worst kind of cheap fish they could it was worse than school fishsticks only bigger Never again!!

Good find. I've been wanting to stop and try it out. The fish was a nice size and cooked well. It's not your typical fried fish spot, so if your expecting that, you'll be disappointed but if you're looking for fresh fish cooked hot and flaky, this is the spot. I added some calamari rings to my order, but I probably won't get those again. They were not your traditional cooked calamari rings. They were cooked like onion rings . Overall, I was satisfied with my visit, and I'm sure I'll be back soon.

Couldn't be more satisfied! We tried the fish n chips and the fried zucchini. Here's our honest review: Fish - It was fresh, flaky, and not overcooked. The batter was very light and crispy. And the portion size was great. Chips - Don't expect too much from this. It's average; but we went there mainly for the fish, not the fries. Zucchini - Same batter as the fish...light and crispy. The service was great and this is really a hidden gem! We can't wait to return to try their fried oysters, shrimp, and clams!

It's hard to find a good fish & chips place, so when we tried H Salt we were excited and thankfully the food & service exceeded our expectations! Small mom n pop shop but it was one of the best fish & chips I've ever had... pretty affordable too considering the portions! The food was fresh out of the fryer - we got the Big Ben which was 3 large pieces of fish & fries (fries were ok... needed some seasoning) and a side order of zucchini. If you're eating it to go, make sure to grab some tartar sauce, ketchup, & malt vinegar. Highly recommend coming here!!! We will definitely be regular customers.

Honestly, very surprised. It's been a long time since I ate here and we decided to stop by tonight and man, it was delicious. Fish/Shrimp and chips combo, hushpuppies, my only complaint would be fries need salt. But it's absolutely delicious.

Very good, make sure you have your condiments they charge extra. So good you can eat the fish the next day. I love it.

Fish was perfectly fried. Oysters were good but were priced on the high side. Owners/service was fantastic. Will be back.

The food was good however when I got a drink for can of sweet tea it cost 2.20$ also the sweet tea was old and ittastesd funny. There was something in the sweet tea when I went to the manger to get the refund she Threw the money on the counter and I asked her to pick it backup and she gave it to me with a attitude.

The fish and zucchini was delicious. They are not salty unlike the other restaurants I've ordered from. I have never heard of this place until they popped up on the app when I was searching for fish and chips. I'm glad this was recommended. Will definitely go back.
