This is a family favorite for us! We love Tammy and her staff! The Dole Whip, Shaved Ice and Ice Cream are all really delicious and high quality. they put love into every order. The restaurant is very clean and the Hawaiian atmosphere makes you feel like booking g a trip to Hawaii the second you walk in. Tammy cares about her customers so much that this week her Dole machine broke and that when our family went in this week to get some Dole Whip, she suggested some of her local competitors so we could go get what we came in for. (We never went elsewhere since we are loyal to Hula Tang ) we really appreciated the extra effort.

Fantastic tasting shaved ice reminiscent of the shaved ice we would get while in Maui. Friendly staff and although there were plenty of people, our shaved ice came quick. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in shaved ice, ice cream or a milkshake

We went there after being recommended by a friend. And wow, the Dole Whips they have are just pure perfection!! Especially their floats are very tasty, which was the one I got. The staff are also kind and friendly. They have a few of seats indoors and outdoors, which can make it challenging to find seating if it gets busy (though I’m not sure how busy it gets, but you should still get something here even if it’s busy; it’s worth it!!). I absolutely loved it. I 100% recommend this place to everyone!

Shaved ice was fluffy and soft, reminiscent of those that we got on Maui. Memories invoked were worth the cost, which was fairly high. Staff were very friendly.
Do yourself a favor & go to Hula Girls Shave Ice in Huntington Beach. Hula Tang Shave Ice fails miserably in comparison. The flavors taste too artificial & not like what it claims to be. I got the guava & it tasted like slightly fruity sugar water, no taste of guava to it. I added Dole Whip & all they add is a small amount on top. My wife jokes I'm a snob about some things, but even our kids said it was very good. Hula Girls makes their own syrups & if you add Dole Whip (for the same price as Hula Tang) they add it to the top & more on the bottom. Their flavors actually taste like what it's supposed to. The ambience from all of the awesome artwork from various tiki artists makes it a much more pleasurable visit. It might be about a 45 minute drive from our house compared to the 15 to Hula Tang, but it's worth it for a MUCH better quality product & atmosphere!!

Really solid Hawaiian shave ice. They have a good variety of flavors to choose from, from typical Hawaiian tropical ones to more fusion types. They also have ice creams that are so yummy! This is the perfect spot for a quick afternoon relax.
