Brisket was tasteless other than some salt on the bark. The meal didn't even live up to a back yard barbecue, let alone smoked brisket. The macaroni and cheese tasted like microwaved leftovers. I don't mind $50 dollars for a good meal, but I am sorry I wasted my money at this place. $34 dollars for 8oz of meat. Go buy a couple prime steaks and grill them yourself.

I've lived all over the US and traveled globally, and Joey's is hands-down the best barbecue I've had. Joey's sauce only elevates barbecue that can easily stand on its own. The portions are generous, the sides are fantastic (yam fries, definitely the best to be found), and I am happy to have created many new Joey's fans. The service is professional, friendly, quick and efficient. The dining areas are welcoming. I am always pleased to serve Joey's to my guests either at home or in the restaurant. I hope that Joey's will continue to make barbecue-loving people happy for another few hundred years.
Vegetarian options: I can only imagine that the veg-a-bob, grilled, would be fantastic. Potato salad would be vegetarian, perhaps not vegan. The yam fries are simply the best to be found.
Parking: The parking lot can fill up but there is street space available.
Wheelchair accessibility: The outdoor area and indoor dining are both accessible.

Beef ribs were dry and tough.
Flavor was below average. What happened to this place? Used to be great.

I came a few months ago for My nieces graduation and the food was terrible. Beef ribs that were tiny, dry, and just not good. Went today again to give it one last shot and it seems the old Joey’s is back. Gigantic, meaty, juicy delicious beef ribs. Keep it up guys. This is how you bring in new customers and keep your old customers coming back! The Service Wasn’t amazing though. Last time I complained about a waitress who appears to be kind of deaf since she doesn’t hear when you call her. I get that She was not our waitress, but our waitress was MIA 95% of the time we were there. They earned their measly $1.25 tip I left. I tip based on service. There was hardly any.

My wife had brisket, bake yam and bake Beans.
I had their home made Sausage, bake potato and corn on the cob my wife and I had cornbread.
Out of all the only thing we both enjoy was yam and potato brisket was dry, my sausage was more like pre cooked ground meat before stuffed and will fall apart when cutting it down to bite size very disappointed!

Joey's BBQ in Chino has a very Texas-BBQ feel to it with the outdoor seating in the patio, and the indoor decor inside the restaurant. We went a little later in the evening on a Saturday, and might have gotten the slim pickings for what was left at the end of a long day of BBQ, so I might try to go a little earlier in the day next time.
I ordered "The Works" ($55.25), which came with ham, beef, chicken, beef rib, pork ribs, and country sausage link. It was basically a sampler platter - and I figured this was the best way to try all of their meats. The best items on that platter were the chicken and surprisingly, the ham. We thought both the beef rib and the pork ribs were dry, and same thing with the sausage link. The 2 side dishes we got with "The Works" were the mac & cheese, BBQ beans, and a 4 piece side of cornbread for an extra $6.90. We enjoyed the cornbread the best out of these 3 side dishes, and will likely try to order other 2 new side dishes next time we visit. We weren't big fans of either the mac & cheese nor the beans.
The real star of the show for us though was the Peach Cobbler dessert that we ordered at the end ($9.75). I would come back just for that cobbler with the ice cream on top.
I really enjoyed the ambience, service, and the music. I just wish that food wasn't as tough. Like I said, we will probably go try to visit earlier in the day next time and hope for a better experience.

It was my first time going there.
Loved the food and service. Will be going back to try other items on the menu. I had the brisket with a side of beans and a baked potato. The brisket was soft and tasty. Didn't even need a knife, and it comes with a delicious side of grilled garlic bread. The baked potato was not a small potato either. The beans were good but tasted even better when I added their yummy BBQ sauce into them. Can't wait to go back. They have cocktails, which I plan on ordering next time.
