Great food friendly staff
This was the worst service ever. I ordered 3 racks of ribs 3 days earlier to be ready at a certain time for an event. The lady that took my order over the phone assured me it would be ready. When I went to pick up at the agreed upon time, at first they said there was no record of my order. Someone else checked and saw d oh wait we have it, took my payment. Waiting 20mins asked how long is it going to br. Was told they dont know because kitchen was backed up. What? I ordered 3 days ago. Ended up waiting 1hr. Should of said forget it but like I said this was for and event. Will never order from here again!
I've never had BBQ pasta, Wow, I'm hooked! The food here is amazing!
Very good BBQ
This was just a horrible experience and we won’t ever go back. I have been going to this restaurant since 1978. I played with Joey in the backyard. It was amazing. Today I got the racist treatment. Apparently I am white. Actually I am Native American. We were treated by the Mexican manager “Savannah” horribly. Actually it was beyond reason. She could not have been more rude if she tried, which we felt she did infact try and succeed. . We did not see a server for 30 minutes and we were literally the only people there. We came at 3 pre dinner and we had a great server who was sent home due to slowness. However the party of 12 that came in 30 minutes later got great service right next to us. I talked to the actual manager who said Savannah was not a manager (she lied) who said he is Joey’s cousin. Bottoms line. Sausage was dry, beef rib was dry, burnt ends were just deep fried brisket cubes, burger was solid, onion rings were great, but overall one person name Savannah ruined this restaurant for us forever. What a piece of Xrap Savannah is.
I love everything about Joey's BBQ except the prices I ordered. A entree that they called The works and that was nearly $65. Good thing two people can eat for 3 days on that thing
Nothing like before... I don't know what happened here.. but now ..it is a really bad service...and food..🤢🤮.. it used to be nice.😮💨
Food was finger leaking good.

Brisket was tasteless other than some salt on the bark. The meal didn't even live up to a back yard barbecue, let alone smoked brisket. The macaroni and cheese tasted like microwaved leftovers. I don't mind $50 dollars for a good meal, but I am sorry I wasted my money at this place. $34 dollars for 8oz of meat. Go buy a couple prime steaks and grill them yourself.

I've lived all over the US and traveled globally, and Joey's is hands-down the best barbecue I've had. Joey's sauce only elevates barbecue that can easily stand on its own. The portions are generous, the sides are fantastic (yam fries, definitely the best to be found), and I am happy to have created many new Joey's fans. The service is professional, friendly, quick and efficient. The dining areas are welcoming. I am always pleased to serve Joey's to my guests either at home or in the restaurant. I hope that Joey's will continue to make barbecue-loving people happy for another few hundred years.
Vegetarian options: I can only imagine that the veg-a-bob, grilled, would be fantastic. Potato salad would be vegetarian, perhaps not vegan. The yam fries are simply the best to be found.
Parking: The parking lot can fill up but there is street space available.
Wheelchair accessibility: The outdoor area and indoor dining are both accessible.

Beef ribs were dry and tough.
Flavor was below average. What happened to this place? Used to be great.

I came a few months ago for My nieces graduation and the food was terrible. Beef ribs that were tiny, dry, and just not good. Went today again to give it one last shot and it seems the old Joey’s is back. Gigantic, meaty, juicy delicious beef ribs. Keep it up guys. This is how you bring in new customers and keep your old customers coming back! The Service Wasn’t amazing though. Last time I complained about a waitress who appears to be kind of deaf since she doesn’t hear when you call her. I get that She was not our waitress, but our waitress was MIA 95% of the time we were there. They earned their measly $1.25 tip I left. I tip based on service. There was hardly any.
