There's a Pollo Loco closer to my work than Juan Pollo, but it's definitely worth the extra mile or two for Juan Pollo, for the following reasons (based on my comparison of a leg & thigh meal):
Freshness: Juan Pollo's chicken is hotter, more tender, juicy, and flavorful.
You get more: not only is the taste better, but the chicken is noticeably larger and instead of only 2 smaller (corn) tortillas at Pollo Loco, you get 3 larger tortillas at Juan Pollo.
For almost $2 less than Pollo Loco, Juan Pollo's meal doesn't include a drink.
Always a greate experience here. Absolutely delicious chicken and sides. Hot and md freshly made every day. The employees are alwasy smiling amd helpful amd make your experience a great one. They are fast and the portions are great and prices are easy on the walet. The closing crew os always so nice and willing to help. Thank you guys for providing a great place to get healthy food fast. Camt say enough good stuff about this place and the crew.

The day we went, it just happened to be one of the hottest days we had before summer. Did i want to cook and make my house an inferno? No thank you. I wanted something filling, good, that the whole family would eat and no one would complain. We got the 2 chicken deal, leftovers..why not? Just means I won't have to worry about anyone being hungry.. it's savory, filling and the price isn't bad at all, you can feed you're family and have leftovers. .plus staff is always so friendly . I'm disabled and have trouble with my balance and walking, the girls are always so nice and come around the counter to hand me my bags, and they always make sure I'm able to exit the restaurant..

The team is really nice here. My mom comes in here from time to time and they're really sweet and patient to her. She'll ask when the fresh chickens are coming out and will willingly wait. She'd like to pick the chickens out herself if she could and the pieces. She'll ask for that senior discount too without question, but they're really nice.
One day she had a price mixup on a promo price she saw. She was ready to try the ontario store to see if the price was different and called the ontario store from inside this store. They explained to her all promos are streamlined so no store offers different prices.
So unfortunately for her the price got raised from the last time she saw it. They could no longer honor the price, but they showed her some extra love on the order which made her really happy plus gave her the freshest pieces. Good service here, especially to our elders.

Good food great staff. Mistake was made on my order and manager went beyond to fix it. Can and will travel from Long Beach to Pomona for some Juan Pollo.
Chicken was so salty it was weird tasting to much seasoning or the marinade. The service is great the workers are really nice but I guess Ill try the one on Euclid next time ?
