We’ve heard great things about Owen’s Bistro and we finally tried it. I wish we came here sooner! The staff was extremely welcoming and attentive. Both my husband and I enjoyed our meals very much. I had the short rib parpadelle with a salad and he had soup and the seared ahi special. We also started with the bread and garlic butter which was so good too. Finished the meal with a slice of coconut cake which was seriously the best coconut cake I’ve ever had. I can’t remember the last time that I’ve enjoyed a meal so much!

We were excited to try this place out. The location and restaurant were beautiful. However, it felt as if we were a burden to the staff. We had a reservation for 5:00PM and arrived at 4:59PM(the second party to arrive) and the staff just seemed annoyed. We were seated approximately seven min after our arrival. We were waiting for one more friend and were told at 5:24PM that we needed to order by 5:30PM or would need to leave. We ordered at 5:30PM. However, as everyone else was receiving their food, we waited for 1 hour for our meals.
Once we did receive our food, it was ok. For the price, we were expecting more (spent over 200.00 for three meals, two sodas and 1 water). The salad was drenched in vinaigrette.
I wish the experience and food did not turn out the way it did.

Owens Bistro is a Husband and wife run Restaurant in Chino for many years. We had been to it when it first opened and again recently with our friends . It was just as it was when it opened, Really friendly welcome great ambiance and attentive service. The food we had was prepared well and tasted great . Its rare for a Restaurant to exist for this long , survive the pandemic and still be just as good as it was the day it opened . Before I forget tge cocktails are great, I had a mean Manhattan.

We have been here a few times and I have to say this time was not it. There were only 3 tables with people. We were there first and got our food last even though we placed our order before the 3rd table was even sat. I ordered the special, it came with two 3 oz medallions, lobster tail, scoop of potatoes and 3 small asparagus. The meat was not warm and the lobster was not all the way cooked, still partly raw. Ordered a side of asparagus, you get 10 small ones for $10. When the server took my plate he said, wow you really ate everything as he looked in the lobster shell. Who says that? Am I suppose to leave it behind? This plate was $95. They were fully staffed it seemed, and on point with the water refills, but for the prices I would expect more.

Went for there sandwiches and found out they were next door instead of rushing me out the owner walk me and my wife next door while giving us alittle history on the place. The customer service alone won us over! Highly recommend

EXCELLENT food We did a quick dinner on Thursday night . Salads are good Spaghettis are good Salmon is good .
Me and my wife had never been to this restaurant a friend recommended it .It was our 31 year wedding anniversary.The waiter was nice but very slow .The lady who I believe was the hostess never once came to our table and greeted us .To be honest the food was wonderful but the service was terrible.

What a perfect meal for the end of our day. Me and my husband were so happy to have been able to finally try owens. I had the shrimp pasta, it was so tasty perfect amount of spice. My husband had the ribeye and brussle sprouts. It was cooked perfect. Our service was a 10. Our food was cooked fresh. They really give us customers time to relax and enjoy our drinks before the food comes out, and I appreciated that so much. During the week it's always rush, rush, hurry, but tonight I felt so at ease Our bartender made our cocktails to perfection ?. I had the vodka, cucumber with ancho reyes, it was the bees knees! Thank you again Owens bistro

My husband and I celebrate our anniversary at Owen's Bistro every year. The food is fabulous and it is our special place. We love the brussels sprouts and the short ribs. Simply fabulous!

My friend went here for dinner, and forgot his phone, i drove all the way from costa mesa with my 2 sons to go pick it up, (after the owner kelly james comfired having them) when i came there, i walked in and asked on of the workers where the owner was because i came to pick up my friend phone, the worker walked back and fort with weird questions ended up telling me. The owner isnt here... i called the cops, they also called the cops on me for god know what reason, they told the cops it was there phone, who cares about a couple 100dollars.. its the photos and memories my friend has on the phone, with his father that past away. He didnt have a back up.. lesson learnt.. safe everything on a usb stick to be extra safe and skip this place.. if u dont want to get robbed .. they also own the delli meat store next door that is also owend by kelly james where the phone last wast detected.
