We finally were able to try out Painted Dough and it did not disappoint! My kids loved their donuts and my husband and I loved our cold brew! We live about 30 minutes away and we will definitely make the trip to come back. Service was excellent, so friendly. And really Love the entire set up!

First time here. Had a funnel cake strawberry doughnut. Unfortunately it was undercooked , so it really lived up to the name painted "dough". It was soft and looked amazing but I just couldn't get past the fact I kept wondering how much better and lighter it would've tasted if it had been cooked more thoroughly. Felt it was overpriced for the product, $3.75 for a glorified doughnut and served in a nice box?

I really love the vegan donuts . I haven't had vegan donuts for years until I found this place . They taste exactly how I remember what a donut taste like. I also love the cookies and cream milk drink. And it's vegan as well since it's made with oat-milk. The service was fast with the donuts and drinks and people are very nice. It's my favorite donut place.

Awesome breakfast burritos (good flavor and huge too), and their coffees rock too! I like anything with Taro or their Vietnamese coffee- the Abuelita coffee is excellent too!

Great quality donuts but the prices are INSANE! $5 for a premium donut?? $60 for a dozen? Absurd. Drop that dozen price to $36. Even then, that's high but that's more reasonable.

Very over priced and the donut I got wasn't as good as ones I've gotten at places that charge $2 for a maple bar with bacon. I had to eat something savory to get rid of the over sweet flavor that wouldn't go away. My friend got a funnel cake donut and was very disappointed also. The donut didn't taste fresh either. Won't be going back.

Please please open more locations. This place is by far the best fancy donut shop I've visited in the OC/IE area. Worth the drive and price! We also ordered a chorizo breakfast sandwich and Thai Tea and it was really good, substantial size and filling. They were kind enough to throw in a free mochi donut as well to try (Mango Tajín-it was actually pretty good!!) definitely coming back and spreading the word. As mentioned above the price for us was worth it, it was actually reasonably priced considering the quality and variety to choose from. This is NOT a try once type of establishment. I would absolutely come often if I were closer. Employees are really friendly and upbeat too, it's all cohesive! From the aesthetic/decor, the energy of the staff, to the doughnut's decor. Really cool place!

They serve mochi, specialty, and even vegan doughnuts They also have breakfast options like burritos and sandwiches, and a tea bar with specialty drinks. The mochi doughnuts definitely caught me by surprise. Super chewy, super soft, with tons of flavor! The one mochi was it!! Another surprise were the vegan doughnuts. Never had one, but glad I tried it here. The lotus biscoff vegan doughnut tasted amazing and had texture of an old fashion. Service was great. Kim helped me out and answered all of my questions. Appreciate you Kim! Definitely check them out when you're in the area

The staff is all very friendly always giving great customer service, the ambiance is fun and very artistic my kids absolutely loved it, and the donuts are absolutely delicious very soft and puffy and all very creative.

I tried the biscoff but the churros and funnel cake also looked amazing. There are cute donuts that kids will love like hello kitty, car and rainbow. The drinks were also amazing. I tried the chocolate cinnamon flavored abuelita frozen and it was delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Excellent spot!

Went another time at 7 an hour after opening and still they didn't have all the doughnuts ready. So don't go till 8 or 9 if you want all options. In my opinion If you open at 6 you should be ready to serve at 6 not 730 or 8.
