On Wednesday at 6pm, I ordered Linguine alle Vongole, advertised as Linguini & clams. The initial taste was somewhat dominated by olive oil, making it feel greasy. Nevertheless, as I savored the dish with the sauce, the clams became more pronounced and tantalizing. Regrettably, the absence of wine flavor was noticeable.

I think owner should update menu and price. Price went up!

OMG, the shell fish spaghetti here at Pizzaioli is one of the best noodle dishes I've ever had in my life !!!

In this dish, you'll have crabs, shell-less crayfishes, shrimps, scallops, and clams, basically all the shellfish you can think of.

And the way they simply use garlic and olive oil to stir fry it with noodles, the essentials of sea is fully blended into the dish, salute to it !!!

BTW, their Gevenese salad is also recommended.

An absolute gem of a restaurant that I can't believe I hadn't tried yet. Everything to the ambiance, music, and especially the food is 10/10. I ordered the lasagna and had asked my server for the best pairing. It did not disappoint, I loved my meal. Ive showed my family this spot and they all loved it.

Our family loves Il Postino. We come for dinner every time we come to NYC. Food is to die for and the service and hospitality is unlike any restaurant we've ever been to. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting NYC and is looking for someplace special to eat. The ravioli in the white cream sauce is our favorite dish and we can't leave without cappuccino and tiramisu. Delish!

Beautiful restaurant and wonderfully decorated for Christmas ! Feels like you are in your own living room - good food expertly prepared and waiters very attentive and helpful Tables good distance apart so that you may converse without straining with your table mates !

We had the eggplant parmesan with penne alfredo, the chicken parmesan with penne marinara & the chicken tortellini with a jalapeno cream sauce. All very delicious & large portions which was great to share so everyone had the chance to try everything we ordered & we still took home leftovers.

update 12.27.2025: We went for dinner with a friend to celebrate Christmas. The food is still very good, the service has not improved any in the last 6 years except for the bell staff being friendly and refilled our water right away, I was never offered a refill on my coffee, and now they don't give you brushetta...you still get a bread plate, but they don't give you anything to put on it. For being a higher end restaurant, you'd think these things would be much better.

2019: We went for lunch on a Sunday. I had been there years ago and remembered that the food was very good, a little expensive, but worth it. So I thought we'd give it a try. When we got here, around 11:30am, there was no host and we waited quite awhile for someone to acknowledge our presence and then pointed out to us where to sit. There were hardly any servers there, hardly any customers, and service was slow. In fact, we wondered if we were going to get menus. When we finally did, we discovered that they charge more than most who do to split a meal. We were already wondering if we made the right choice to go, but they did bring brushetta, which was fabulous! We ordered a breakfast pizza and they didn't charge us a splitting fee for that. It was tasty. Will we go back? Probably not.

Incredible food experience the lobster fra diavolo was superb. Osso bucco was the best I've tasted in quite some time. Staff is friendly and we'll be back.
