The chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and you gotta have their house made raita, was delicious haven't found a good Pakistani food around the area and I gotta say im glad I found this place. Will be coming back for sure.
Delicious food, great and super friendly customer service. I will be back 😋
I had the vegetable Karahi and my boyfriend had a shrimp curry, the owner specially made chicken masala for us to try it, because I told him I only eat vegetarian Indian food, it was very delicious, thank you.
At the end he gave us rice pudding.
We also had the potato paratha and ground beef paratha and vegetable samosas.
Mango slushy and masala chai tea were also good 👍🏻
I've only been to their lunch buffet, but with that being said this place is amazing. The standard chicken masala, basmati rice, salad is always served but every other day they change some of the meat. Every single time has been a banger. Goat was tender, fish was soft and delectable, all chicken variations are great with rice. Not sure if the naan bread is unlimited but they have been giving it everything I ask. The mango drink is great too, high recommend you try it. The amount of food variation and buffet for about $20 is already a steal now a days, and to have the food be this good made this place my top 2 spot in Chino. If your deciding on a place to go between 11AM - 230PM, you need to come here. Can't speak for the dinner though.
Best Pakistani / Indian buffet in town! I love their fresh naan, tandoori chicken, and Lassi. The service is great too.
This place offers a fantastic dining experience. The staff was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was flavorful, especially the nihari and the freshly baked naan. The cozy interior, with its mix of modern and traditional touches, made it a great place for a casual night out or a family gathering.
Been using them for last 3 years at least, didn't realize that I never left a review. The service is extraordinarily good. It reminds you of the legendary Pakistani hospitality. The owner himself makes sure that you have the most pleasant experience.
As far as the taste goes, I will say it's almost authentic. Now even though it's almost, I am still more than happy. The reason being if it's actually 100% authentic, my American born kids and most of their American clientele will not be able to enjoy it. They have got just the right balance of spices that both Pakistanis and non-Pakistanis can enjoy the food.
This is a very nice Pakistani restaurant in Chino Hills. I really like the inside and the service. As for the food, it is very good and flavorful! I had the tandoori lamb chops with roti, which were pretty great! I’m giving them 4 stars for food because for $20, you only get 3-4 slides of lamb, which is not a lot of food. But otherwise, the food is great. Give them a shot
We came for a late dinner and so thankful they took us in at 8:15pm. We were the only ones and seated right away. They have us water and menus to review. I got the Chicken Saag and my husband got the Chicken Korma. We also ordered Samosas and Garlic Naan bread. We forgot to order rice and the host was so nice to ask a few minutes later if we wanted to add it. The portions are huge! You can get away with sharing just 1 dish to be honest. Make sure to order 2 orders of bread. We were sad it was soo good that we regretted not ordering more. The Chicken Saag was so creamy and tasted like mashed lentils. Yum! The Chicken Korma had more of a little kick and was very rich in sauce. The samosas had the most spicy flavors so have water handy! There wasn’t any music playing but I wonder if it was because it was close to closing time. I personally didn’t care it was really nice to have some quiet. Overall this place was fantastic. Give it a shot! :)

Dinner at Tamarind is good, but where this restaurant shines is during its lunch buffet. It gives you the opportunity to try out things you may not normally order.
They serve salad, rice and typical dishes like tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala, but they mix it up with dishes like aloo gobi or palak (potato & cauliflower or spinach), kima aloo (ground beef & potato), and goat karahi.
I'm not a big fan of goat, but decided to try a small spoonful of the goat karahi. It was tender, not gamey at all. Fantastic.
All dishes are mild and served with fresh naan. You can go back for seconds or thirds.
Staff is attentive, the place is clean and $19 for the lunch buffet isn't bad (drink not included), but isn't the cheapest lunch option either.

I recently visited Tamarind Restaurant to enjoy some Desi food. The place is small but has a nice ambiance, and they offer a buffet with a variety of Desi dishes. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the service. The staff, including the managers, seemed more focused on their own conversations than on attending to customers. The person who took my order appeared to be the owner but came across as somewhat arrogant and lacking courtesy. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Worst paneer Tikka masala and chicken tikka masala I have ever tasted
Went into the restaurant to dine in
But there was a strange irritating noise of the exhaust fan, we had to make the order a to go and came out
The naans were good but the gravy’s were terrible
Seems like they reheated some left over food from the lunch and added paneer and chicken to it
Very bad and disappointing
