FIRST visit: Uhhh ...fun! My first egg farm! * FEATURING: === An adorable llama and its goat friends out front === Egg "house" where all kinds of fresh eggs are sold (follow the signs) === They do sell live chicken here as well === Beware the smell if there's a wait (my usual overly acute nose was dying...) - they usually space out entries inside the shop to a few at a time * FRIENDLY service: Yes * FRESH air seating outside? N/A * FAIR pricing: Yes! * FEE processing: None. Accepts credit cards * FREE parking: Yes, gravel lot in front * FYI: Fun, my first egg farm (and there's a few in CH!) If I can help it, I always prefer buying eggs from local small actual free-range farms vs. giant over-populated ones that mass produce for grocery stores... FOUR & 1/2 stars **** '

I buy egg cartons from Maust's at the Galleria at the farmers market. Nice people. The eggs come in different sizes. .

I love Maust egg farm. It is very family friendly and love walking up to see the animals. They also have a produce stand and I rather buy fresh veggies there than at the grocery store. Taste is 100% better! The eggs are so good and don't stink like store bought eggs. They are so creamy. Support your local farmers!

Staff always helpful when choosing eggs. It's nice to be able to browse the products in the store. Very clean! Fun to see the animals. They sell young laying hens if you want to have backyard chickens.

First time buying from here. I normally go across the street to Billy's but unfortunately they're closed on Sundays , so I come here instead. They're selling 1 flat 30 eggs for 14.50 where Billy's sells for $11.75 and ex large for $12.50. I don't know what I got for14.50 for 30 eggs / 1 flat but it better be good or else I'm not coming back.

Providing all natural fresh eggs and fresh chicken that is antibiotic and hormone free to the community since 1956. So many types of eggs... white, brown, sea kelp fed, omega 3, etc. They also sell other local items such as honey, jam, and spices.

Beautiful eggs. Huge difference compared to other eggs. Moving forward this will be my go to spot for eggs! Arrived Tuesday and was pretty empty so I was able to take my time and enjoy this beautiful place. Supporting small businesses :)

Been going for years now. Yeah, prices are up but quality still the same. Orangey yolks in their eggs, especially the green eggs.

Cute little farm! So glad I found it. Will be back for more chicken and eggs :) Definitely didn't look like a CAFO (concentrated animal feeding operation). Read up about it and you'll see why it's important to source produce at our local farms and support them :)

Visited Maust's California Poultry for the first time this weekend. We came on a Saturday around 9:30am and there was a small line with about 5 parties ahead of us to get inside the store. Store itself is quite tiny with a refrigerator space filled with small cartons or large tray of eggs - prices vary depending on what the chicken's eat. There was also a cooler of whole chickens for about ~$17 each and a shelf towards the back with what looked like jam and honey. Purchased a "harvest" tray of eggs from different breeds of hen. It was a bit pricey - 30 eggs for $16 but we knew we were paying for the variety. I will say the yolks were bright orange and very creamy in texture when we cooked it up. Outside the farm is a stand selling assorted fruits and veggies from another farm. There is also a gated area of animals which was pretty neat.

I've been meaning to write this review but every time I go to this family farm it's such a joy! They are beyond sweet and even let me play with their dog's liter of puppies one visit. The family literally lives right behind the store so it's truly a small, family run business. You can see the chickens running around and the egg processing if you step right out the back door of the store so it's the real deal. You can't beat these prices either!!!!!! My fav is the $5 for I believe 30 of the small white eggs. I'm obsessed. We need more health enthusiasts like these folks who provide truly organic eggs in a world of chemicals and preservatives.
