This place is great! We drove south to go to a lake in the Chowchila area. We saw this place right off our exit, so we figured it would be dinner on our way back. It did not disappoint at all!! We started off with the Bourbon pork belly bites... I could've ate 3 orders!! They were amazing. For meals I got fish n chips and my wife got steak Diane. Both were fantastic, hers was definitely the winner. Mushrooms and onions with a burgundy wine sauce, filet medallions, mashed potatoes, and asparagus spears!! Definitely give it a try if you stop in! There's a bar side to the place as well but we didn't venture in there.

We often eat here for a date night.I love the steak diane very laid back i feel in the main dining area and then they also have a fine dining area as well as a bar. And karaoke it is a pretty awesome place right off the freeway.

I stop here every month when we travel to visit family in Merced from Bakersfield, reminds me of my child hood going there with my parents on the weekends when we lived in chowchilla.

I stop by this place every time on the drive between Nor Cal and So Cal. Right off the freeway, plenty of parking, good menu from breakfast to dinner, and the bar has table service with all the games on. Service is a little slow, don’t have much service staff. But reasonable prices, good selection, plenty of easy parking. Can’t go wrong.

Fantastic spot in chowchilla! The top sirloin steak was cooked perfectly - a very nice medium rare. It was seasoned well for a thick and juicy steak.

The reason why I had to rate the food a 4/5 is because everything was heavily salted; too much. The steamed veggies tasted like they were soaked in salt water. The brown gravy on top of my mashed potatoes was heavily salted - inedible, I just ate around the gravy.

The Bourbon Pork Belly Bites were absolutely amazing. Perfectly balanced on the pallet. There's the smokiness of the bourbon, which wasn't overbearing. The texture was on point; soft-tender on the fat, and some of the meat had a bit of a bite to it. It was a good thing for the texture contrast.

The service was great and friendly, but our food was under seasoned and a bit bland. I ordered French toast, scrambled eggs, and sausage and they were all on the dry side. My husband had the ribeye and it wasn't seasoned at all. All in all, okay food in a friendly atmosphere for $65.
