This bar and grill is always so busy seeing as it is the absolute best in Chowchilla. The tacos are to die for and the drinks are always perfectly made. This is also where I met my boyfriend, which is a huge plus :) Oh... also forgot to mention. The prime rib is really yummy too. You can't go wrong with that!

The actual wait staff is pretty much good hearted people. And the food is good. Only thing that is bad is the couple of times going in and although it was packed, and everyone's doing their job, the one person who wasn't doing anything was the blonde manager. It was understaffed, by one or two people, and instead of actually doing something, she just doled it out to two people who were extremely busy with extra tables.... Kinda sad when she likes to dish it out, but won't get her hands dirty when it was really needed. P.S. tell her to quit smoking, nothing worse than coming in from your car smelling like perfume and Marlboros.

This was our first time here. Few good restaurants open in Madera on Sunday. We drove to Chowchilla on a recommendation. We reserved table for 7 online. We got there, table ready, sweet waitress was on it. She was so attentive and made our experience so special. The food was amazing. My salmon was spot on, the steak salad awesome, the French dips so tender and delicious. The Philly cheese to die for with a side of au jus. We would definitely go back again. Wish they were in Madera, but worth the short drive!

Great food. Great staff. Quiet family atmosphere. Average cost per quality. One of the better lunch/dinner spots in the Madera area. (Chowchilla) Sweet of the owner to walk the floor and greet guest, but also to thank guest for stopping in. Cute patio, perfect for upcoming spring/summer evenings.

This is the best restaurant in Chowchilla! The food is great, and the customer service is even better! Enjoy your meal outdoors on their patio with amazing sunsets and birds sweetly chirping or chose to dine inside where you will always be greeted with a smile! I can't say enough great things about this restaurant!

Absolute gem right here in good ol Chowchilla. Great atmosphere and amazing food. They always run a weekly/daily special that is out of this world. I say that Wayne gets the shop next door and opens up a wall so more people can enjoy this hidden gem.

Really nice atmosphere. Great place for any occasion. No beer on tap but the food and cocktails are high quality. Football season it can be busy on Sundays but there’s almost always a place to sit. The service is great.
