I found this place by reading the exceptional reviews on Google, and all I can say is that Bed and Barrel truly lives up to the hype! We had an absolutely spectacular weekend in the quiet, spacious main house and enjoyed everything from our customized wine tasting to the luxurious bed and bathroom to the freshly made breakfast. I am so glad we found this gem and would highly recommend it to any others looking for a rejuvenating weekend!

We booked a room and stayed here for my wife’s birthday in the summer of 2023. I can’t say enough great things about this place. From the wine to the luxuries of the rooms, the ambiance of the grounds, and the private chef-everything was perfect! The smart toilet was really cool. I wish I had one.We were the only ones staying there overnight so we had the whole place to ourselves. The private chef made us breakfast, dinner, and even a custom desert after arranging our menu ahead of time. All the food was fantastic and the wine was really good! Clearlake is a hidden gem for Cabernet lovers, something about the volcanic soils…anyways yeah this is a great place to stay of your looking for a unique private getaway.Rooms: Rooms were spacious and new. Great little vinery that is off the beaten path. We booked the B&B during our trip in the area and it was a highlight to the otherwise rather subdeveloped region. The rooms were nice, modern and good sized, and the pool has perfect for an afternoon swim. Since they only have a couple rooms you feel you have the place for yourself, once the wine buddies leave in late afternoon.

My husband and I just returned from a two night stay at Bed & Barrel and it was really incredible. We are new to the California wine scene, so we love visiting all of the unique properties and sampling their delicious wines. Brittany was an incredible host and her breakfast creations were amazing. She really went out of her way to make our stay memorable and to ensure we felt welcome. Robert stayed late to finish up a wine tasting for us. His expertise was evident during the tasting and we appreciate the great experience he gave us. Overall, it was really fun staying at Bed & Barrel and we'll definitely come back (and probably bring friends with us).

Just got back from the Bed and Barrel and stayed at the Ranch House . What a lovely home with a pool, jacuzzi and fire pit right out the sliders to our back yard . This house is spacious and very nicely appointed . We opted for Brittany’s chef cooked made to order breakfasts on our mornings there and let me tell you that her cooking is delicious and cooked with love and fresh ingredients . Yummy. Oh and did I mention the wine?! Enjoyed our tastings with our charcuterie . Don’t miss this place, it’s a must visit and very personal experience ! Simply beautiful . Our family felt special and cared for by the staff here and we are grateful. Thank you all . Worth every penny :) much love Cheers !

We stayed at this lovely bed/breakfast and winery with another couple in early April, soon after the last of a long, rainy season. The green, rolling hills and vineyards were beautiful and alive with new growth and wildlife. The main interior common space was unique and stunning, and where we could relax most of the day. The rooms were also very comfortable and spacious. We genuinely enjoyed the hosted wine tasting and purchased several bottles of their fine wine. The breakfasts and dinner were outstanding. Brittany is a superb chef and a welcoming host. All staff on the grounds were very nice, gregarious, and helpful. We recommend this relaxing and beautiful place.

The property is beautiful! I loved the scenery and nature. My room was great, clean, comfortable and had all I needed, TV, balcony, desk, bed, walking closet, spacious bathroom (with electric bidet!), hot water and more. There is a common kitchen, living room and dining room fully equipped for any meal, games or just hanging out.You can walk all over the property, through the vineyards and there is a swing with a beautiful view to the valley.Staff is the kindest, Brittany and Robert did my stay very special with all kinds of attentions with wine facts, good conversations and helpful with any questions I may have. The wine they make is delicious with many different and unique notes, perfect for an afternoon of tasting or just relaxing. The location is very convenient, far from anything to be calm and quiet but close to town and the lake to go to a restaurant or enjoy the area.I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at the Stonehouse Cellars Bed and Barrel in early April. It was fun to start off with a wine tasting to pick out our favorite wines to enjoy for our visit and then to walk through the beautiful rolling hills beside the winery's vineyards. We took advantage of their culinary institute trained chef's prepared poached pork dinner which was outstandingly delicious. For the included breakfasts the Shakshukas, Quiches, and Stonehouse Breakfast were especially good; be sure to specify any fruit and baked items you'd like. We definitely will recommend this hidden gem to family and friends for a quiet little romantic getaway.

I stayed at Stone House Cellars for a night during February '23 and have no hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay and visit. There are two main reasons why:1. The PlaceThe venue and accommodation are very comfortable & welcoming, and the surrounding countryside is attractive. The rooms are well appointed and they have everything a visitor would reasonably expect. The service is excellent.2. The PeopleMy stay was most unusual: I got snowed in overnight. We lost power and water, the staff couldn't get to the building as usual and I had to fend for myself at breakfast. It was no problem for me: I found a outdoor gas grill to boil snow for water, made do and was able to get on my way after the roads cleared.Brittany Romanchik, the manager, was fantastic, as were the neighbors who checked in for various reasons when they could. Where I come from, we judge people by what they say and do - particularly during periods of stress as this reveals true character. Brittany, her family and the neighbors care for their visitors and its difficult for me to think of anything they could have done more for me. It's a reminder that there is more good than bad in this world we all live in. So, if you want to have a nice time and feel good that you're supporting kind, decent people who REALLY care about their visitors please stay here - they are great. I will, for sure, be back.
