Happy garden has become a go-to place for a nice lunch a couple of drinks just a good time visiting with friends the place is always clean it's never been overly busy that I can remember we usually sit on the bar side where Simone is the bartenders is an absolute doll she is efficient and quick and personable and I have been here off and on for about 5 years this is one of my favorite places to eat the food is outstanding

On our way to our timeshare at Clear Lake and got really hungry. We wanted Chinese food so decided to stop on by. It's a hole in the wall kind place that gives you 2 options: Bar or sit down restaurant. Of course we picked the restaurant. The staff were friendly. The prices were also very reasonable. We picked the family dinner for two. They gave you plenty of food and we had enough to take home. Wasn't expecting much but this place but it's a really good place to go if you have that Chinese food craving.

I'm updating my review to 5 stars after visiting Happy Garden a few more times for a dine-in experience. This has become our go-to locate dinner place and we cannot recommend this place enough! The service is simple but the servers are attentive, take orders correctly, and are prompt. The ambiance reminds me of a Chinese food restaurant from my childhood in the 90s, but the food is definitely not old school. If you stop in, I encourage you to try the shrimp fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, and the crab wontons. Definitely worth the stop over when you're in the area.

Call and place on order, less than five minutes. Super flavorful and always perfect. I reckoned hot and sour soup and curry... and almost everything else. It won't disappoint no matter what you order.Vegetarian options: Just ask for no meat. Or there are plenty of no meat options. Their veggies fried rice is really good.Dietary restrictions: Just ask when severed and most can be accommodated or recommend an alternate dish if not possible.Parking: Umm... there is plenty of parking? And they also do drivethru since covid...Kid-friendliness: Always so kind to my kids. And very accomodating.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for my quadrapaligic friend. And so easy to get into.

I’ve ate there on numerous occasions and have always found the food to be excellent. Their Salt and Pepper Shrimp or Chicken is really good. The Egg Foo Young is fantastic but if they’re busy they won’t make it. Moo shu pork is another favorite. If there’s a better Oriental Restaurant in Lake County it has eluded me for 45 years.

Disgusting. What isn't wholly flavorless (shrimp fried rice, hot & sour soup), is doughy-and-flavorless (beef chow fun, pot stickers), or perversely inedible (orange chicken) - mushy, soggy, sloppy. Disgusting. Gave this "Happy Garden" four tries over 3 months. Drive anywhere else.
