My family has noticed that our usual Mexican restaurants have gone down hill so we tried delicious Alvarez and they were fantastic we will be going back without a doubt. Food was great service was great I highly recommend them.

Best Mexican restaurant in Lake County, hands down. The owners, Omar and Liz, are some of the best people around as well. Food ALWAYS tastes fantastic!! We love this place.Parking: Large parking lot to the rear of the restaurant. A few spaces up front.

It's hard to explain by words but I could feel how much love was invested in that plate. Had 2 fish tacos, 1 Shrimp and 1 carne. Everything was so good including the rice. Salsa is addictive. Love these people and I love their place (+they let me dine in when I arrive 10 minutes before they close doors)

I liked here before but I got my food to go, it is so bad I don't want to eat it. When I called to tell them how bad it was she hung up on me. Guess they don't care what their customers think, I will never again go there.

I had food there before. That was good but this time I ordered it to go. It was the worst chili riano I have ever had. I called to tell them and the lady on the other end of the phone hung up on me. Guess they don't care about their customers or what they think. I'll never go there again, no?

This is the real deal Mexican restaurant. The building could certainly use a little polish on the exterior but that's my only criticism. Our waitress was very sweet and patient. The food came out quick, was nicely presented and very tasty. Apologies to everyone. When I appreciate a restaurant experience I begin a review immediately. Yelp just reminded me that I failed to finish this. The problem is, at this point I have almost no memory of this experience. Fortunately, there is a clue in my review. I almost never rate a restaurant five stars. When I do it means I highly recommend the establishment. My few words tell the story. Don't be put off by the building exterior. If I gave it five stars the food must be excellent.
