Greasy diner food. Chicken tasted like rubber, I didn't eat any of it. I did eat some of the garlic fries which were good, also very greasy.
The ONLY truly great breakfasts in clearlake.
đ They are closed!?!?!
Nowhere else to go. Miss everyone there already.
A true tragedy!

Food was disgusting! Prices are outrageous in such a poor community. The place was better with the last owners, but now it's just terrible. I wont be going back!

From the time we arrive, just the experience the way we were seated, directing and pointed to a table to sit at and left us sitting there for a while. Then returned to ask us if we wanted something to drink. His demeanor was like, âI donât want to be hereâ. We were polite and placed our order of water. We waiting about 15 minutes before a waitress checked on us. Christine arrived. I guess they wanted to make sure we looked over the menu. I placed our order for ham omelette and the Louisiana hamburger.
We received our order in a timely manner. As my wife was picking through her ham omelette, we were talking about it. It was loaded up with avocado and mushrooms and cut up pieces of meat which I assumed was ham. My wife as she picked through it, stated, this is bacon in here.
It took a several attempts, waving my hand and verbally speaking out âoh waitressâ to get the attention of the waitress. She came to the table, I stated my wife got the wrong omelette. She looked at it, stated you got the omelette you ordered, the bacon, avocado and mushrooms. We then proceeded to argue on what I ordered as other customers got entertained. She did offer to get the ham omelette or she could discount the bill. We chose the discount, which turned out to be she removed the order from the bill.
I did not even get into the Louisiana burger with her which is suppose to have barbecue sauce per the menu.
I wonât go back because I know what I ordered, and Christine, waitress, said it must of been a communication issue, because âI know what I heard, and that is you ordered the bacon, avocado and mushroomsâ as the dispute unfolded.

Great food only had breakfast so far. Cornedbeef hash and a short stack of pancakes. I would definitely come back here again. The coffee can use some work. ( add more grounds so it's not as watery tasting )

I love biscuits and gravy so I enjoy going to different restaurants and trying their biscuits n gravy. I could tell the biscuits were made fresh, the gravy had bacon or ham in it instead of sausage so that was different and I liked it a lot actually. I got a full order of biscuits n gravy with coffee for $10.

Best dinner experience we've had at Main St. in a while. The hostess & server were fun and nice. The place was dressed up for Halloween. The food and service were really good (fish & chips). The only woops was they forgot the onion rings. No biggie. We all came away happy that we went to Main St. that night. ***Oh, and the Mac salad side was really good, like home made.

It's a decent place for a small setting bit if you plan to go with a group it is less accommodating. Service seems spotty and staff seemed a little stressed out. Manager a bit rude but it was during rush hour. Kinda just seemed a bit off the whole time but food was okay.
