About 25 years ago in Taos, New Mexico, at the Thunderbird Lodge, I was a ski bum and dishwasher. There was a gringo cook who made a thing called huevos rancheros. I am slightly neuro divergent and fell in love with the breakfast treat. I am also a shining love, and when I walked in, the first thing I said to Manager Mauricio was, “We will eat here if you have huevos rancheros.” I cracked an inappropriate joke, and the cook, Antonio, said, “This guy,” and proceeded to make an off-menu offering that was so delicious. Lupe, the server, came back, and I am sort of an expert on this dish. I told her when she said red or green chili that in New Mexico, that’s called Christmas, and yes, that was what I would have. I don’t eat a lot, so I ate about a third of the plate and saved the rest for the day. I noticed that Manager Mauricio told a table of four Latin folks that they serve huevos rancheros. That is how love energy works. This gringo hippie made something that will probably now be on the menu. We love you guys, and by the way, your huevos eclipse the biggest truck balls;)

Went to breakfast here this past weekend with my family and i have to say the food was AMAZING the breakfast sandwich was so delicious, My girls got the mickey cake and not only was the breakfast cute and fun it was HUGE portions and my girls were full. We will definitely be back the staff was friendly and welcoming

I come here somewhat often. Everything I've ever ordered was very good. Well, other than their salad, I feel that their salad is mediocre unfortunately. Great service. Great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals. Highly recommend.

I normally go to main street for fresh biscuits and gravy but main street closed so I tried Trejo's, the biscuits n gravy wasn't the worst I ever had but the biscuits weren't really fresh made and I had to salt n pepper the gravy because it was kind of bland. The service was great and the atmosphere was great, I just probably won't go back for biscuits and gravy. I will go back and try something else though. Updated to 5 stars, got their bacon cheeseburger and fries today from doordash and the bacon was cooked perfect, the ghost pepper cheese is unique and really made the burger pop, the fries were hot and fresh. This might be my new favorite meal and restaurant.

Giant Handmade chicken fried steak. Breakfast burritos loaded with meat. Bring your jacket. It tends to be cool in the winter inside because there's two doors.
The food here is top notch. The staff is the best. The eggs are off the hook. So very good.
