Busy little deli down town. Stopped in for two sandwiches, 1 roast beef w/cheddar and the other pastrami with Swiss. The service was good, the atmosphere colloquial and friendly. Sadly neither sandwiches had the cheeses I ordered and the pastrami was past thin, it had wholes in it because it couldn’t be sliced any thinner. It appeared like one extremely thin piece of pastrami folded over into half. 2-3 inches of bread with little meat and zero cheese. Potato salad was tasty. I paid $55.00 for two sandwiches and two 8 oz of salad. That included 20% tip of $7.00. Fed my dog most of the bread.

Tried MoE’s for the first time yesterday and was blown away by the quality of food and service. Food is phenomenal and the service equally so! Small town deli, but big time charm! :-) The tuna melt, pastrami on rye, and hatch chili were everything you wanted them to be (including being served on the absolute best bread)! I would come here every day if I lived here!

Took 30 minutes to make a reuben with no one else in the whole restaurant
Check the hours of operation, great food.
I can only say that maybe opening this place even a half hour earlier would help them better prepare for the lunch rush . And maybe they could catch up on their ordering. . I called in to order a salami sandwich and they said they were out of salami.
Had a sandwich for $13.75 had bread which not fresh, very little meat and was generally disappointing.
Whenever I drive through Cloverdale I make sure to stop by this family operated deli for delicious food with fast and friendly service. I really appreciate that they make accommodations for vegetarians.

I grew up in Cloverdale as a kid in the late 80's l loved going to eagles sports world and to the eagles nest it was a great place. I don't know what that last guy who posted a good review is on but it was completely horrible worst lunch we have ever had. 17 dollars for a patty melt no flavor except grease and onion.and the thickest rubbery cheese that i have ever had. French fries no salt turk sandwich with a drop of mustard and mayonnaise and inch thick onions one thin slice pickle no salt or pepper or tomato or lettuce. The sandwiches where supposed to have the works on them The other 2 sandwiches worse.. We didn't even eat them. Went to the new deli and got sandwiches after spending 60 dollars at the eagles nest. Some advice eagles nest owners add salt and pepper and when a customer says the works make them a proper sandwich.

Eagle’s Nest is an incredible top tier deli and grill run by a wonderful husband and wife team.
Home made family recipes, using the very best ingredients from Sonoma county, make the food here a perfect 10/10.
EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious. The sandwiches are art.
There is a Beer Garden with out front seating and the bar side eating in winter is cozy. The interior has antique Americana charm. What an absolute knock out—do not miss this local gem! Make sure to check the hours!
