I was pleasantly surprised when walking into Piacere to find a lovely decorated ambiance. A family run business with friendly staff. I wanted the Eggplant Parmigiana but was told they didn’t have any. Decent casual Italian food, but nothing to write home about. BBQ oysters were truly drenched, covered, slathered in garlic butter and BBQ sauce. I prefer things a bit more subtle that let the quality of the ingredients stand by themselves; this was more quantity over quality. Service was decent. Some other customers were loud and a bit obnoxious. Just go in expecting casual and it's fine. Plenty of dishes can be made vegetarian, but not really anything vegan.
