The old school vibe and excellent food were a welcome respite on our road trip. The fries are amazing. We sat outside in the back under the trees to beat the heat but there is no escaping it on a 100 degree day. The soft serve swirl helped though!

I drove all the way from Salinas, California to Cloverdale, California to try Picks, and it was worth every mile. The burgers there are the most amazing I’ve ever had. Their commitment to quality is evident, as all their food is made from scratch. The customer service is outstanding—they are as polite as can be, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The prices are perfect for the exceptional quality and service of the burgers and shakes. I only wish Picks were closer to me! If you’re ever in the area, be patient; the wait is a testament to the care and craftsmanship that goes into every meal.
The Burger store I encountered while driving to Northern California is different from the glossy style burger restaurants that are generally considered. This is a very local style burger. For those who like to bask in the sun, this store is like a picnic. The dining environment! We were attracted by the sign that was established in 1923. Overall, the food was OK. The burger meat tasted better than the average restaurant, but the fillings seemed to be richer! The fries are delicious ?! Because it is not a fast food restaurant, it is cooked to order, and you may have to wait for more than 15-20 minutes. If you are in a hurry and want fast service, this is not your first choice!
