If steak is your thing, I highly recommend this restaurant. The filet Diane literally melts in your mouth. I suggest starting with the crispy lobster appetizer, it has a little spice, but the sweetness balances it perfectly. If you love lobster, the lobster pasta is a must. It’s rich, buttery, and absolutely delicious.
My wife ordered the shrimp and grits, which I wasn’t sure about at first, but the flavors were spot on. Dessert was also very good.
The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy. If you prefer a quieter setting, ask to be seated in the back room or on the outdoor patio. The staff is super friendly and attentive. They also have a large bar with seating if that’s your thing, though it was a little too loud for me.
Overall, the food is amazing. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Trust me!

Food was excellent. Service wasn’t the greatest. The wait staff was very attentive overall by our waiter in particular was absent and nowhere to be found most of the time.
Positively lovely Friday evening for our first time trying this place. Steaks were legitimately some of the best we’ve had since moving to California. Perfectly prepared. For the quality they were very reasonably priced. Most CA steakhouses are charging $90 for a $25 steak. 13 Prime has flipped it with $100 steaks priced at $50-$75.
Great service. Great vibe! Dark but with just enough lighting. Really appreciate that the music is not Country but is much more energetic.

Service was amazing; steak sublime. Juicy and full of flavor! Only wish there were more veggies on my plate. Didn't care much for the grits.

This place did not live up to the hype. Mine and my Dad's filets came out looking like they sat under the heat lamp for a WHILE. It tasted like it too. A bit on the dry side for a medium cooked steak. Our server tended to ignore us for the most part, but the busser was on top of things. Au gratin potatoes and the Fall salad were good. Sister had the coffee crusted rib eye and that was fresh and delicious. The seating was kind of like sitting in a cafeteria. This place was over priced for the quality of food and dining experience. Completely underwhelming.

We had a wonderful time here. Megan was very attentive, Professional, and Prompt. Jeff Assisted me with connecting my laptop to the projector. He was very responsive over Email. Thank you 13 Prime Steak House for making our event, very memorable.
We got Mushroom Bruschetta and the Classic Shrimp Cocktail as an appetizer. The guests absolutely loved it!

Our waitress tried hard but the bathroom was below 1 star the soap and the blower did not work but every high scale restaurant should have paper towels BUT that was not the issue..my 130$ steak was dry and unflavorful on top of waiting 15 minutes for my drink ( unknown reason was given) my table wobbled I personally fixed it with a napkin. 200$ plus bill was made to feel not important...I will not be back no reason to even try again because I ordered the porterhouse and Mac n cheese. And my timing in-between drinks was 10 min + Only 2 ppl

Great meal. I had the filet and it was the best steak I’ve had in a long while - tender but lots of great steak flavor. Sides were also good, especially the jalapeño cheddar grits. Peanut butter cheesecake was ridiculous. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. A win all around.

First thing first, the quality of the food doesn't match the prices and that's a fact, specially if you compared this place to an actual good quality food like Flemings or Ruth Chris, even The Palms have the same quality food and definitely cheaper, so why have these over priced food items makes no sense, which from the many times at Ruth the steaks have always been cooked the way I asked, here the 2 times I have been here the temperature have always been wrong, now, I'm not saying the food is bad, because my friend loved her food both times and that's the whole reason of the 4 stars, but my recommendation for anyone trying this place because of the looks, I will direct you to my number one place Ruth Chris and don't be afraid of the prices, it will be cheaper than here, also try Flemings and yes those places might look intimidating but trust me, the service is up there with high end restaurants and overall the prices there match their food items. So overall if all you want is to try it out go ahead and give it a try but just keep in match the prices don't match the food. Way over priced.
This time we had Emma as our waitress and she was amazing, very friendly and pleasant even when that day was her birthday.

We’ve been loyal customers of 13 Prime Steakhouse for a long time, we come here often for dinner and have even purchased multiple gift cards. The service from the staff is always great, but the experience we had with the manager, Jeff, was absolutely unacceptable.
We reserved a large group of 13 for a party and were never told there was a $2,000 minimum spend required for the private room. After our dinner, Jeff brought back that we had signed a contract and began arguing with us instead of listening. According to our waiter, this kind of misunderstanding has happened multiple times, which tells me it’s a communication issue they know about but haven’t fixed.
They also mentioned that even if the total doesn’t reach $2000, they still charge that amount regardless, because of the contract. If that’s how they plan to continue doing business, they should at least verbally explain this policy upfront to every guest before booking, not leave people surprised and frustrated afterward.
What made it worse is that just in May of this year, we were in the same room with a group of eight and were never told about any minimum charge. Jeff claimed that couldn’t have happened because he’s the only one who books the room, but we know for a fact we were there. He kept arguing and wouldn’t take any responsibility.
I even called the day before to confirm the reservation with a staff member, and no one mentioned any minimum. Jeff then argued that we didn’t confirm with him, which makes no sense when other staff are answering the phones.
After this experience, we’ll never come back. The servers were great, but Jeff’s attitude and lack of professionalism completely ruined the night. If you’re thinking of booking a group here, double-check everything in writing or better yet, go somewhere that values returning customers.
