Pretty cool place. Came here with some friends and for an $8 charge was able to play board games for 3.5 hours or so. Great selection of board games and pretty good beers. Saw people hosting a DND game and others playing a fighting game tournament

Great venue to socialize with old and new friends playing fun board games, while being able to have an adult beverage if you choose. The owner's engagement and enthusiasm with patrons for what games are in inventory is a highly appreciated aspect of the service and feel of the venue. I can't recommend BFTM highly enough!

I always look forward to my bi-monthly DnD night at Beer for the Meeples. The atmosphere is always very friendly, and this actually where I had my first-ever Dungeons and Dragons session, and I highly recommend this place for new players. I've now been playing for almost two years. I highly recommend this place if you want to just have some beers and play some board games, or if you want to make some friends playing longer-term games.

Great place to play board games or you can bring your own games also. Good for play groups like Magic the Gathering players, they have tables and chairs. You can also drink beer. It would be nice if the also served nonalcoholic beer!

This was a really nice little bar, totally unsuspecting from the shop front. Went there for a date to drink and chat but the bar tender brought over a game to us and everything. Said over 800 board games. The oatmeal stout on tap was absolutely delicious. I don't think I'd bring a first date here again, but definitely a game night for like 3 couples? This place is perfect for that with its big tables

First time going here. Walked in and walked right out. First thing when you walk in is the SMELL. it literally has an EXTREMELY strong human sweat dirty odor..like old thrift stores but 10x stronger smell. It smells like a crowd of people who has not showered in daysssss that all gathered together and sits there for HOURS on end. I mean come on, staff working there cannot be telling me they can’t smell that? No air ventilation in that place? Febreeze the shizz out of that place once in a while maybe? Or no, keep multiple automatic air freshener spray! Maybe keep door open at all times with a HUGE fan blowing the air out? or idk hang a sign that says if no shower, no service.
Second, the place is poorly designed. They have long tables that can fit probably 6-8 people? But, 2 people would be sitting at those table with their dang gameboard spread all across each end of the table. So you don’t even have a place to sit! This place has potentials but they really need to better manage the place. Especially the smell!! My nose hair is still recovering from being fried from the smell.
Until this place makes better improvements, 2 stars is given (considering they did seem to have a lot of game boards and could be a good place to enjoy an hour or two with a friend)
