I've been coming here since the mid-1990s on work trips. Im from Maine where the mexican restaurants are run by irishmen... This place is a classic.. kickass food. Come on in!

So it’s been a couple years since I’ve visited, the last being in 2019. I feel the quality of both the food and service has gone drastically.

I stopped in today as one of the first places I’ve been out of the house since a surgical procedure on 7/29. The service was okay.. we did not get the kids drink we ordered and paid for.

I had ordered the Shrimp Diabla. I’ve had the dish before at other Mexican restaurants, the best in the area, in my opinion, has been at El Tarasco in Hanford. The dish at Bobby Salazar’s was so disappointing. The shrimp tasted old, as if it had been thawed out and cooked after being freezer burned. I ate two myself and shared one with my sister who agreed and spoke to the server.

The server was adamant the shrimp was fresh, but there was nooo way. They offered to take $10 off but I feel that was still unfair considering I ate nothing on the plate but two small shrimp.

The iced water served with lunch also tasted poorly. Like it was dirty. I was just super disappointed that I spent $48 on a meal that was not at all enjoyable. One of my sisters did have a blueberry margarita which was tasty. Another sister has the taquitos plate. These also tasted as if they had been frozen and heated in the microwave prior to being served.

Our swim m team was in town and the prepped lunches for all our athletes. They loved the food and everything tasted amazing.

Cesar was super helpful and cool! Food was good. I got the Steak Fajitas! Food came out hot! Only thing I’d change….Would’ve wanted the fajitas to come with a couple more tortillas.

Other than that great place! I’d come again and recommend!

So this is hard to right. This was the worst food I have ever had at a place with Bobby's or Sals' name on it. The food was off big time. The sauce were not good everything was defenert and not in a good way. The staff was great and atmosphere is good but I will not be back to this location.

Tried to give this place another shot. First time they got both burritos wrong, after taking the drive to pick up. Waited a couple weeks, tried again. Had them repeat order this time. Got home. Several pieces of meat in a VEGETARIAN BEAN BURRITO. Not right for someone who doesn’t enjoy eating meat and that person really loved this place. Done coming here. Quality and attention to simple orders is missing. Worth going to another spot.

Food is extraordinary, the servers are the most friendly of any restaurant I have been too, shout out to Caesar! And it has a fun lighthearted atmosphere. 10/10

Parking: Plenty of spots but at night it can get crowded as it is in a popular dinner spot.

Kid-friendliness: As said before has a lighthearted atmosphere and has separate dining and bar areas.

Wheelchair accessibility: From the back there is a ramp up.

Food and servers were great. It’s been a long time since I don’t even remember when was the last time I had such a good Mexican food.

First our service John was amazing and checked on us quite often. We had a total of 3 rounds of drinks and each time it took 20 minutes to get them. And holy crap it took little over an hour to get our food. We had to ask for chips and salsa twice since they didn't come to refill them after we asked. Not sure we'll be back....

It was excessively loud. Communication at our table was problematic at best . Food was most excellent. A bit pricey though.
