I've seen a lot of negative reviews, but that's not the case for me. Since starting a weight loss program, I've starting going to Chronic Tacos once a week for their salads. I get the chicken salad, no beans or rice, onion, cilantro cabbage, cheese and red salsa. It's delicious and healthy! The staff is nice when helping me, and the meal is under $10 which is hard to find right now. I really enjoy this restaurant!

This place has really gone downhill. 3 out of the last 4 times I have gone it's been closed!! They just randomly close whenever. I am not longer wasting my time, I'll take my money elsewhere.

Wife brought me here and I was very disappointed. I ordered a bowl and everything was ok except for the protein. I got asada, which they charge an extra $1, so my assumption was it must be better quality meat. Boy was I wrong, it was terrible. Meat was extremely fatty and chewy. Can't speak about the other proteins but stay away from the asada.

So while I've enjoyed Chronic Tacos for quite a while now (serviceable food and close to work), I will say that today was my last time giving them my business. The staff member was quite actively rude and dismissive during the entire ordering process, and ended our exchange by walking away and leaving my food on their side of the counter (so I had to reach around to grab it myself after paying at the machine myself). I totally understand having some workplace apathy in customer service (been there, done that myself!), but this seemed more like an active effort by the employee to be dismissive.

The food is so not worth the price at all. It's just skimpy and weak. Meats were dry. The quality has gone way down. $30 almost for two salads. Ridiculous. 2 stars are for the sweet kids up front. Won't be back

Terrible experience. Dry halfway cooked tacos, 1 tablespoon of meat per taco, lazy staff, overpriced, and soda machine was out of everything. This was the worst waste of money we have spent in food in my life. It looks like they spend more money on the plates than the ingredients they use. Never coming back!
How can you mess up the same 2 bowls of take out, unless you really don't care. My 2 veggie bowls, Baja style, had only beans and rice, THAT'S IT!! No veggies, no baja topping with lime, cabbage, cheese, etc. NEVER GOING BACK. Plus, the floor was disgusting, dirty, sticky. The drink machine was out of a lot of beverage choices.

Online orders nearly never come right. The staff is not well trained and the restaurant lacks consistency. Every time I place my order from DoorDash I get something different even though I always order the same thing.

The food was awful this was my first time trying them we spent a good $30 for a burrito and tacos and it was just bad ? the shrimp tasted really nasty my tacos were cold and didn't seem cooked all the way the salsa tasted like metal it was an all around bad first experience for us

Dont let the covid thing convince you its a fluke or that its because they cant find employees lol even when they found workers years ago they just could not figure out how to not overly salt the food. These total ree-ree's will never figure that out. Lol but then again look at the franchise owner. The dude stapled his balls to his legs for a living on MTV. Dude Chronic Taco how are you still in our lives? Go make the way of Qdoba and Freebirds with your mediocre selves. Which is an insult to those two places. Those places actually tried. How many reviews do I read of the food being overly salted in 2022? Lol it was the same way in 2017 LOL. You are awful people.
