My favorite place to get Mexican food! Chips and Salsa tasted fresh and bomb. Flautas are always good, same with the rice and beans.

I want to thank the staff for being absolutely amazing. We went in 8/2/2024 with a party of 11 one hour before closing. They openly accommodated us with smiles and good service. We celebrated my Mother in-laws 70th birthday with amazing food and it was lovely. The shrimp cocktail was so good, my husband ordered the mini tacos it came with 4 tacos that filled his entire plate he said the meat was delicious, my son ordered the chimichangas plate and it came with 2 huge fried chimi's rice and beans he was so happy, the fajita plate was huge and also came with a side plate of rice and beans, the queso berria tacos tasted wonderful. Thank you all for making are evening great. They even took a family photo of us as they were trying to clean up and close.

Great little place with quick friendly service. Just lacked in flavor both my dish and my husbands. No spice in the salsa..at all. There were plenty of people so maybe we chose the wrong dish.

For years this was our consistent spot for Mexican food. The service was reasonable, and the food was good. Over the last year or so they've really taken a downturn in service and quality. The wait times have increased and the freshness of their food has worsened.
We decided to give it one last shot. I really wish we hadn't. I ordered the usuals, a pork tamale and a chicken enchilada. When the food came out it looked freshly cooked, not like it had been sitting under a heat lamp, so that was good. The biggest problem was the tamale. There was about a centimeter wide two inch long micro strip of pork in the entire tamale. It was basically a big wad of masa. So I sent it back and asked to have something else. Not a big deal, at least I thought.
Instead of just exchanging the item for another one, a woman came out from the back, I'm assuming the manager, and proceeded to start an argument with me saying that there was pork in the tamale and that I was mistaken. I told her that there was next to none in it and that I would like a replacement item. Then she dug her heels in deeper and started picking the tamale apart in front of me and arguing that there is pork in the tamale. To top it off she gestured like she was going to hand it back to me. Motioning that this is what I got and I had better eat it.
She finally backed down when I told her that I wasn't here to argue with her and that I was here to pay for good quality food and that it shouldn't matter if she was able to spot trace amounts of pork in the tamale, it still wasn't a good tamale.
It's pretty embarrassing having someone come out from the back and instead of just swapping out the item, deciding to pick a fight with a customer in the restaurant for everyone else to see. How humiliating, juvenile and unprofessional.
We went there for years but because of this, we're done with this place. There are better Mexican restaurants in town that won't send staff out to talk down to you if you don't like their food. These guys can sit and spin on their porkless pork tamales.

The shrimp cocktail was literally room temperature...they were also unable or unwilling to provide a vegetarian cheese enchilada. The chicken chimichanga was crunchy and good with lots of meat and cheese.
The salsa was not great, it tasted like it was starting to ferment a bit and lacked in flavor.
All in all I don't think I would eat here again, given that there are several other choices for quality Mexican food in the area.

Service with more smiles and eagerness to see if customers need anything could be improved. But always a pleasant time when dining here. Playing some mellow Mexican music and adding mexican interior decorations could be very beneficial to a customers overall dining experience.

We ordered for pickup four meals that cost $10.50 each. When we received the meals we were charged $72.40! When we asked why so much we were told they told us they charged us "ala-cart" prices because we didn't specify the "house special". We asked for the chimichanga that came with beans and rice. That is the house special! We won't be going back since ripping off their customers is ok for them. Plus the chimichanga was made wrong and was soggy!
