My family wanted to get takeout from here. They had been here before and liked it. I went online to look at there menu and settled for a tri tip sandwich and fries. The tri tip was very thinly sliced(I prefer thicker sliced meat). The flavor was fine but the meat made my bread soggy and sorta fell apart. The bbq sauce was good. The crinkle cut fries had a nice seasoning on them. Overall, it was okay. I wouldn’t choose to come here again but I’d eat here again if my family wanted it while I was there.

I stopped in today to grab some food for lunch, and I smelled the barbecue from across the street at the hotel I stayed at. Friendly folks, delicious brisket, and even the sides of macaroni salad and potato salad were excellent. If I lived in Clovis, I would be a regular customer.

A lunch plate should not be 30 dollars with a soda and a 2 dollar piece of bread... It's not even thatngood...fresno has no idea what bbq is if this place won best in Central Valley.

I had the Mini Matty burger, and it was amazing! Two patties stacked with plenty of tri-tip, and surprisingly it wasn’t too much—it was just right. The flavor was spot on, and I really enjoyed every bite. The whole place is decked out in Raiders gear, so you know the owner is a big fan. Everyone there was friendly and made me feel welcome. Great food and good vibes all around!

I hadn't been there in a year or two but I was in the area so I thought I would check it out because I remembered it being pretty good. It was overpriced. By a lot. I couldn't understand how it was so busy unless people in Clovis just like paying a lot for very little food. I bought a $16.99 tri tip burrito (with tax). For $17 (literally the most expensive burrito I've ever bought) I was expecting meat to be like spilling out of this giant, sized burrito. It was regular sized and I could barely taste the meat. Don't waste your money. Ma and Paw BBQ has a better burrito 2 miles up the street for almost half the price.
I got the BBQ plate which comes with 1 meat, but I added a second one for a charge. I wanted brisket but they were out, so I got the tri tip and pulled pork. The tri tip is cut super thin but it was so moist and full of flavor. The pulled pork was just as delicious. Wasn’t a fan of the sweet bbq sauce, but I mixed it with the spicy bbq sauce and oh man it was the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. My two sides were the rice and cowboy beans. I rice was buttery and fluffy, tremendous! The beans were also fantastic! For $24 they pile high the meat! Definitely gonna go back soon!
