We went here for a birthday and they had enough seating for our group of 8. I ordered the Mackerel Saba. It was perfect. They had plenty of roll options for us to try and they also had yakisoba on the menu, which my family loved.
Kijima is easily one of the best Japanese restaurants I've eaten in a while. Right off the bat, the atmosphere is warm and inviting while remaining calm and quiet. Our server was amazing! She was incredibly friendly throughout the entire meal and really made us feel welcome there. And the food was superb! Don't be fooled by the simple decor...Our sushi was delicious and so was their teriyaki chicken and tempura. I also recommend the baked mussels. The owners were extremely gracious amd had a great sense of humor. ?
