I’ve come to this location a couple of times, and the food has met the expectations, with the exception of the cafe de olla. However the meal wait time and customer service was bad. I would think twice before coming again because of the service.

I went there for the first time since they opened at their new location. The food is good and the owners are friendly, courteous and make you feel like family.

So this place is in the Fosters Freeze i grew up going to afterlife league games. When I found out the owners refused to sell the property to Starbucks, and planned to open a family owned and operated Mexican restaurant I was beyond happy. What is more is that the home made recipes, the housemate tortillas, and the welcoming vibe make for a great addition to downtown Clovis.
Well played Las Mananitas!!!

This place was delicious. We ordered the mole and the carne asada Cozumel. The only thing that was lacking flavor was the rice. Everything else was delicious and had the right amount of seasoning. Also I was happy to see the big metal cups they use for water. I will definitely be back.

Our go to breakfast burrito spot. Can’t say enough good things. The vibes, the people, the food. 👌I love giving places like this my business. The people who own this/work here are seriously the kindest❤️ please try them out

The food is what makes this place stand out. The chili verde was authentic, with the bone still in it, the beans and potatoes were full of flavor. The tortillas…. Wow! The service was ok. The guy forgot our bacon, we had to get up for our own napkins and sugar and never did get more salsa, but it was really busy with Clovis Fest going on so I’ll give him some grace for that. Will definitely try it again and see if service is better at a different time. Nice decor, but a bit loud.

Our family stopped here after watching the hot air balloons for ClovisFest, and the environment seemed promising but it was bit of a letdown.

We tried ordering a few items, only to discover they were out…a half hour after opening? They didn’t have milk (we tried ordering for our son), or juice, and the burrito I got advertised tater tots but came with potatoes - no issue, but the info wasn’t communicated. I also left to move my car, so we could have closer parking after we walked Old Town, left, came back 10 minutes later, and the waitress still hadn’t taken our order.

I had a breakfast burrito, and it was absolutely oily. The only time I’ve remotely had something so greasy was when I’ve ordered chorizo at other spots, but even then it wasn’t as bad as theirs, and this was a sausage, egg, cheese and potato (supposed to have tots). My wife’s plate was tasty, but also seemed slightly cold?

Side note: there’s only one bathroom, and it only allows one patron at a time - not the best for a busy day like the day we experienced.

The gal at the register seemed preoccupied when I came to pay, which is fine, but she didn’t ask me how our breakfast was (I would’ve explained that I was unfortunately disappointed) nor did she thank me for coming in.

We wanted to like this place, given the overall ratings, but we won’t be back.

The location has been decorated nicely. Small dining area, lots of sound from music and loud conversations. The restroom not in the best location as it opens right up to the small dining area. Suggest they have separate menus for breakfast/lunch and dinner. As they do not serve the entire menu. Our waitress was very friendly. Sadly that did not make up for the OVERLY SALTY FOOD. The salsa over my torta aguada was very salty. The pork was over cooked and dry. Nothing close to Mexico's food. Tried the 2 crunchy tacos. I would swear the tacos were air-fried and not in oil. They broke apart, so used those as chips. The carne asada not that flavorful. Sazón is everything when it comes to authentic Mexican food. Had to pay at register. Not sure if he was the owner, but took a minute for him to come to register. Wasn't paying attention to us at all. While waiting, we saw it was an open kitchen. So you can see them preparing the food. Some girl with no gloves, long nails grabbing up the carne asada to put on top of carne asada nachos. Hopefully those hands & nails were clean. Unfortunately not a good experience, went on a recommendation. I would not recommend. Lots of other locations with a more authentic Sazón flavor.

Great food ruined by bad atmosphere to loud inside the restaurant could barely concentrate to figure out what I wanted to eat. Try the in Fresno for better atmosphere.
