I've tried this place twice.... Every time I went the AC.Was not working. It was so unbearable to eat inside. I'm not sure if this is done on purpose. But let's get to the point, The sandwiches look great but they taste terrible. I got the chicken sandwich and the beef sandwich. The beef was so oily that it completely soaked the brown parchment paper it was wrapped in. I only saw two sprigs of cilantro. I took two bites and decided to give away my sandwich. For a bahnmi sandwich which is supposed to be healthy And fresh this was not in. The chicken sandwich was okay. I. Don't know who makes the pickling of the vegetables, But they are not doing it right because it tastes really weird, Something is definitely off about the sandwiches. I know everyone has their own method and recipe.But this was not it for me. We got the chowmein as well But for ten dollars I was expecting a bit more. At the swapMeet I can get a full leg of chicken a full plate of chowmein with a soda for the same price. The same quality as well. This is just my personal opinion.

I’ve eaten lots of banh mi (cue in the fat jokes) and this is one of the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Cool people, good food. Definitely recommend the crispy pork belly sandwich (#6 I think).
Been craving a good Banh Mi, being a San Jose Native, this place took me back. I even found out one of the workers was also from San Jose, and we went to the same middle school! The atmosphere is very welcoming, it was slow but the restaurant was very tidy. Everything stocked up and clean. It actually smelled delicious inside. The girl at the register was very nice and I even asked what she liked better, she recommended the Crispy pork belly Banh Mi. Super super delicious! The sandwich itself was very large and I even ordered some Shrimp eggrolls that were also tasty! I also ordered a mango tea, and everything came to under $30 Definitely will be back. Thanks for the great food
um yeah, go here, spring rolls are fresh & awesome, banh mi bread is super crispy and soft on the inside, portions are great, even the orange chicken & chow mein are over the top good (I know orange chicken whatever but damn it's good and not super sweet), coffee is strong or not -they ask how you want it, teas are awesome, go here dummy!

Le Banh Mi was so damn good. The pate was so buttery and delicious, and all the ingredients were a perfect combination. I was happy but not entirely surprised to hear from the owner, DJ, that they take great care to make everything from scratch. His grandma's who work in the back of house insist on it. So cheers to grandma's! They know what's up.
Plenty of sandwich to eat too. The other reviewer using their forearm to measure wasn't kidding; it is about a wrist to elbow length sandwich.
I don't live in the area but this place is a guaranteed stop whenever I'm back. Or, make my dreams come true and open a location in the South Bay. I know the perfect spot... right across the street from Jus' Poke in the old liquor store. Y'all would be a hit.
