The staff were friendly and the food was amazing! My girlfriend and I got the Pork belly grilled cheese and the chicken Mac and cheese, which exceeded our expectations! We also had a Te Adoro and an Infinity Old Fashioned, which were so unique! This will definitely become one of our go to spots for a nice drink and meal.

I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The food was good—each dish was well-prepared and full of flavor. The live band added such a fun and lively atmosphere, making the experience even more enjoyable. They played great music and really knew how to engage the crowd. On top of that, the service was excellent. Our waiter was incredibly nice and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful night.

Food quality is excellent; love their fried green beans, jambalaya, pork belly and specials.
Cocktails are why we visit; best Old Fashioned from an 'infinity barrel'. Frensno chile margarita is perfect too. Harris can whip up all sorts of cocktails.

We stumbled in on this cozy spot for great pub food and drinks. It's a hidden gem. The bar tender was helpful and welcoming and passionate about the food/drinks/ experience we were having. We met the in-house chef and sampled a new dish he was offering, which they offered to us free of charge! Papa's Place has a genuine and friendly vibe. We will be returning more often, as this place has become a new favorite spot for us. The location is within simple walking distance of many local shopping boutiques, antique stores, art galleries, and gift shops. Downtown Clovis is full of wholesome fun these days! Also, I love the interior of the place...it's dark but warm, the lighting is unique and inviting. It's a cool spot. More date nights there are definitely ahead! Oh, did I mention someone makes homemade liquor infusions that look curious and tasty on the shelf at the bar? It's giving small town European vibes...

Today was my mom’s birthday, and we decided to browse a few thrift stores in OTC to hunt for some treasures. As the day went on, my mom began to feel hungry. However, due to multiple food sensitivities—including intolerances to dairy, gluten, and various other ingredients—she typically avoids dining out to avoid causing any inconvenience. But, because it was her special day, I convinced her to let me treat her to a meal at Papa’s Place.
Upon arriving, we found ourselves asking several questions about the food—specifically regarding how it was prepared and what ingredients were included. Unfortunately, we had to send one dish back, as it contained something my mom couldn’t eat. She, of course, felt terrible and apologized profusely. But our waitress, Michelle, was absolutely remarkable. Her patience, kindness, and eagerness to accommodate my mom’s dietary needs made all the difference. She went out of her way to ensure that my mom received a meal that was not only safe but also delicious—going far beyond simply offering bland options like boiled chicken.
Michelle’s thoughtful and attentive service was nothing short of extraordinary, and it’s moments like this that restore my faith in the kindness of others. I am deeply grateful for her generosity and care. Thank you, Michelle, from the bottom of my heart. You truly made this experience unforgettable.

Papa's Place has great food and cocktails but they are a little pricy now ($15.50 per cocktail as of August 2024). I'd recommend the Mac ball burger if you love cheese and burgers. The Zion was a good whiskey cocktail for me since I like my cocktails to be an even mix between the fruit flavor and alcohol. They usually have a good jazz artist/band playing on Fridays/Saturdays.
Parking: Parking is available but gets busy on weekends, especially if it's farmers' market or another event happening at the same time.
