I truly adore this place! Their food is so good, they have large portion sizes, and the staff are always friendly. My personal favorites are their beef teriyaki, the special fried chicken, and the chicken bowl. My dad is a fan of their pork teriyaki. Their teriyaki sauce is thicker, more like a glaze which me and my family prefer. I have ordered take out from here quite regularly and will continue to do so.

Terryaki bowl, white meat. This is the second try and the last. The chicken is sooooo hard, chewy n dry. I was very hungry so I did my best with it but boy was it awful!! The sauce was globby but it wouldn't have been a big deal if the chicken wasn't gross.

I was first shocked at the increase in prices on their food. Iām an original customer of theirs from their old location that was sold off of Shaw and marks. It used to be long wait times and packed. Whoever has taken it over has loss the touch. I was very disappointed in the taste and the teriyaki sauce was not good. If you are looking for a great place to go eat go to Kenjiās off of Bullard and Blackstone. They have great food and way better prices! I will never go back to Peteās

Decided to stop by on a whim, I was hungry and it was the first place I saw. I'm not from the area so I didn't know what to expect. I got the chicken teriyaki plate with white rice and tempura veggies. Location was small but clean, service was good. The girl that took my order was very friendly and the food came out fast hot and fresh. It was delicious . My plate came out to about 20 bucks with a drink and extra side of sauce . I thought it was a little pricy until I realized the portions were big. It was enough for two meals. I left happy and full. Will return if I'm in the area again.

Traditionally, Peteās Terriyaki is an institution in Frasno. Their Marks/Shaw location has been there for decades. I was so pumped to see they opened a location in Clovis. When they first opened, I think the food quality was better. Tonight, we did takeout and was pretty disappointed. The white meat chicken was so dry, it was like a bad Thanksgiving turkey. Our other dish was the Soecial Fried Chicken, which is the best! Even saying that, tonight it seemed very subpar. They usually apply a fair amount of Terriyaki to the meat, but there was hardly any. The ramakin of Terriyaki sauce that came with it seemed almost jello like. It was not liquid. Could jiggle like jelly. The sticky rice was great and so was the tempura vegetables. Give it a shot.

The food was cold. The chicken taste like it was imitation. The tempura was not crispy. And the service, she seem to get upset because I asked for an extra sauce (which I indicated when ordered by phone). And no receipt.
First off this place is ridiculously expensive. Youād think youād be getting teppanyaki worthy food at the prices they have their food listed at. Nonetheless I wanted to give this place a try and so I ordered a tempura vegetable and shrimp plate that came with white rice.
The dining area is small and it was as hot as a sauna in there. Where I was sitting smelled like human urine.
Once I got my plate I was disappointed to see just how much unflavored batter was surrounded by the veggies and shrimp. Also, I couldāve choked and died because they apparently donāt remove the shrimp skin before frying it in batter? At first I thought maybe they forgot to peel one of the shrimp but no, all the shrimp were unpeeled. I ended up throwing most of the food away and was extremely unsatisfied for what I paid, $18! I shouldāve have complained but I was in a hurry. Definitely wonāt return and next time I want quick and good Japanese style food Iāll just go to Mikaās.

i was confirmed a refund only to get a call 5 min later asking me to take my raw beef back in order to get a refund. then i said iām very far right and they were like āoh no worries keep it in a container bring it back we need to see what we did wrongā have you guys never seen raw beef iām confused. donāt waste your time here. shaw and marks supremacy!!!

We ordered the beef combo: medium. And these guys gave us a medium rare.. all pink!!!! We called to let them know the meat was horrible done, and Angelina said we will give you the refund. Then 5 min later, they called us back saying to take the meat to them right now 7:20pm ( 12/07/24- foggy and cold- I havenāt eaten). Or to save it n a container!!! To take it to them on MONDAY!!!!!! Aaah!! Two days later!!!! We live in the Bluffs area, and they are making drive to take their food Not cooked properly!!! I hope people read this!! And this is how LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS kill the vibe of wanting TO SUPPORT THEM. probably I will never get an answer!! Why do they want the meat back??? Are they going to re sale it?? To someone who asks for a medium rare??? Hhhmmmm??? Good luck!!
