Last time I was at Pete's Teriyaki was in the late 1990's (way out on west Shaw Ave. near Pardini's, assuming it's the same people/business). They were amazing then, so I was more than a little excited when I saw this location on Herndon closer to home. I don't know how long they've been there but I'm sure glad I spotted it. I brought home some veggie tempura for the kids (they freakin' love veggie tempura) and some teriyaki chicken for myself. Great food, great price (which is saying a lot for most places nowadays). I will happily be back for more!

Tasty chicken teriyaki! Would rather have steamed vegetables as substitute option to fried tempura. Generous portions.

Very disappointed The food does not taste fresh. Portions are much smaller, too. Plus, prices almost doubled. Wish old owner was back. One plus, bathroom was clean. Sorry I won't be back. Too many other teriyaki places to go to.

I've been going to Pete's for the better part of 30 years, so far back in fact they were at their old location when I first visited Pete's. I really like the special fried chicken. The food is great, the service is great, and it's not a long wait.

I’m so glad they added a location in Clovis . We used to go to the fresno location when we lived near by. And whenever we were in the area. Now they are much closer and we will definitely be there often. The food is awesome and a great value too.Parking: Good size lot .

Not even close to the quality of Mah's. Steak bowl tasted like pot roast! You used to get enough to eat and take some for lunch the next day. This is junk, will not be returning. Big disappointment :(

Found this little gem on Yelp. Was looking for a good teriyaki chicken place since one I used to go to in Clovis closed down. Their chicken teriyaki bowl was very, very good and included white rice and tempura veggies. The serving size was so big that my son is taking the leftovers to work today for lunch. The tempura shrimp was also very good with four large pieces of shrimp. The food came out in under 10 minutes. Fast, easy, great value for the money and very good. Definitely coming back.

Their teriyaki pork is delicious however, they need to trim off the fat. I also wish they offered brown rice. Unsure if they offer teriyaki Tofu, but if so, I'll try it next time instead of the fatty pork.

Ordered the beef bowl. Probably the worst teriyaki beef bowl I’ve ever had. Cheap cut of meat. Tasteless. Tough to chew. I ate half of it. Brought the rest home first the dog. Seriously. Miss Mah’s.
