Rare Earth Coffee Roastery

Rare Earth is a Central Valley hidden gem! Almost speakeasy-like in the sense that this “coffee shop” is in the back of a warehouse in an industrial neighborhood in North Clovis, it’s a go-to spot for those “in the know” — IYKYK, right? (I feel like an insider whenever I’m here.)

Anthony’s new butter pecan latte (half-sweetened) with oat milk tastes like a S’more’s Latte to me — my new favorite.

Also a huge fan of getting their grounds for use in my French press @ home — have tried Cinnamon Spice, Hazelnut, and French Vanilla so far, all incredible. $12.99 a bag — def worth it, better than all the types I’ve tried from Trader Joe’s (though I could see this brand on the TJs shelf one day, Rare Earth introducing “air roasted” coffee to a broader market possibly?)

I've been coming in here during my lunch break at least once a week lately. It's a great place to sit, relax, and listen to music for a while too. This place is far superior to any of the big name coffee shops and at a great price for the quality. Anthony and Grace are so knowledgeable about their drinks and products, and always recommend me a great new drink to try. 10/10 experience every time.

We took the coffee roasting class with Anthony and we loved it! We walked away with so much knowledge of the roasting process, how it's different from drum roasting, TONS of whole bean coffee, lots of coffee tasting, and a new perspective. We got to customize our own roast to our liking. Would definitely recommend trying this experience!

Excellent iced coffee. The cafe is around the back and there is plenty of parking. Strike up a conversation with Hector and you might just learn something. We did and enjoyed ourselves.

If you want a coffee shop that caters to your palate and actually lives up to its hype come here. The coffee has consistently tasted great wether it was picked up in person or delivered through DoorDash.
