Wanted to try a new place so we decided to come here. We were greeted promptly and our order was taken. I had the sausage breakfast sandwich. You get to choose what kind of bread, how you want your eggs cooked and choice of meat. The sandwich also comes with hash browns or potatoes. Let me tell you, the food did not disappoint. In fact it was damn good. The sausage was country style which had excellent flavor. My husband had a 2 eggs type of breakfast with potatoes and biscuits & gravy. I tried some of his and the flavor was spectacular. We usually go to another spot every weekend, but I think this place just became our #1. Reading all the reviews prior I had some doubts, Im so glad we took a chance. We will definitely be back. Here is a pic of my sausage breakfast sausage. To add the toast bread was cooked on a grill because it had the consistency of a grill cheese crisp.

First time to the restaurant. Quick seating, friendly service. They had a table open for our group of 7 and a service dog, seated us right away. Brought our drinks and took our orders after we were seated and about 10 minutes later comes out our food. Kept our drinks full and brought all the condiments we needed. Everyone liked the food and we'll be going back.

All around, it’s just a good diner. The food and portions are awesome, the crew is always so nice and welcoming with excellent service, and the overall feel is just great. I would recommend to anyone who needs some good breakfast food.

My Wife and I took a chance on the ‘Texas Cafe’ and we are both blown away by the simplistic yet delicious food. This is the second time we’ve had Prissy as our server and she’s really good people! We will definitely be back!!

I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. I expected a crispy chicken breast, but instead the sandwich was made from several chicken strips on a bun. The flavor was ok, although the chicken strips were pretty over cooked, but it was extremely difficult to eat. The strips kept falling off of the bun. I would recommend either changing the strips to a single breast patty, or switching to a hoagie type bun to help hold the strips in place. Also, when I asked for a side of ranch for my fries, I was not told it was $1.04 charge. Most places give it out free if you are buying food.

What a great experience, from the friendly service to the delicious food. Feels like a place my grandparents would have eaten at when they were young. It’s got that old town charm. No bells and whistles, or huge light up sign. Comfort food in a comfortable environment.

Walked in during covid with masks on and we weren’t greeted. Then after about 10-15 minutes a server finally goes over and asks where we want to sit we said outside. She said go ahead and get a table and she’d be out to help us. Another 15-20 minutes later no waters, no menus so we just got up and left never returned.

We got the bacon egg omelette, hash brown and substituted the English muffin for a pancake. The food was great. The water was straight tap water not filtered, so it tasted like chlorine. My husband and I shared the food and we were both full once we were done. My first time here and I absolutely loved it. As well as the environment and the decorations.

I stopped in Rodeo Coffee Shop on a Thursday morning it was not busy. I bet on the weekends it is hard to find a seat.I ordered the 3 egg Denver omelette it was stuffed with ham, onions, bell pepper, and cheese it was good and big it did not disappoint. It came with hash browns and I chose the biscuits and gravy the biscuits and gravy were really good. The servings are big and hardy so go with an appetite. The service was really good with a smile and always ready to pour another cup of coffee for you. I will definitely have to go back and try others that looked so good as they passed on to the tables.

This is Old Town Clovis at its most classic. Chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, home made comfort food. Love this place.
