I don't normally write reviews - but I had the best experience today at my local Rubio's location and felt it deserved a 5-star review for being unforgettable.For a bit of background, I've come to this Rubio's for about 2 years now, as I work relatively close and it's a favorite stop of mine when I'm in the mood for a burrito. I prefer Rubio's over the other burrito place which shall not be named - their burritos are actually toasted right and taste so much better. And free chips and salsa included in the price? Saves me money too!Today, I noticed there was a new manager on staff! As I was standing in line I had to remark to myself what great customer service he was presenting to the folks in front of me. And as he was calling orders back, he kept complimenting and encouraging his team, telling them he appreciated them and that they were doing great. A+ manager material in my book, and I've worked retail before. Watching the staff, it didn't look like any of them were struggling or unhappy, or if they were they were doing an amazing job at keeping positive and level-headed, which I 100% can attest to having a great leader on the team that actually appreciates their hard work.On top of that, since there was no one else behind me in line, this gentleman (whom I unfortunately didn't catch the name of) took the time to help me register for their rewards app - something I didn't even know they had! For all the times I've been going there not once did anyone try to sign me up for the rewards program. Well, now I'm signed up! And I'm definitely going to be back.I loved seeing such a wholesome atmosphere here. It made my whole ordering and dining experience unforgettable and I had to gush to my friends about what wonderful service I received. Today's burrito tasted extra amazing because you can tell it was made with love simply because of great leadership.Keep it up, Clovis Rubio's team! Y'all are doing amazing!
This place was recommended by the clerk at the Sketchers store. What a disappointment it was! My other half had two fish tacos and a salad. He didn't really like the fish they used. I had the steak burrito and the soup. Now, the soup was tasty. The burrito was a different story. The meat was dry and tough, and several pieces were burnt. The accompanying chips were not freshly made. For a $40 price tag, it was not worth it.

They were very nice and helpful and explained what was what, they were so busy the ran out of beans and rice. The bathroom and floor was disgusting but I think it because they had a rush of people came in other than that the shrimp taco? was good and the fish taco was Damn Good the steak taco was cool to much lettuce tho

Usually pretty happy here, but wth happened? Mannerisms and professionalism out the window at last visit, plus out of stuff and order made incorrectly. This is part of why places start losing patronage, along as being sanitary. Hopefully if we try them again they will have taken note. Update: Review sent to noted link. Update: No response or contact yet made from company after almost two weeks of emailing per their request.
