The food is always fabulous, the steak is perfect and the rice and hot and spicy sauce cannot be beat anywhere in Fresno

Still the best sushi in town!
I love going to either location, but this one is in a great location.

Food was awful, service was terrible. Literally the hottest restaurant I have ever been to. Server messed up of food order and tab. Came for a birthday, made reservations and paid a deposit for them to forget to bring out the birthday cake we personally brought. When asked to speak to the manager in charge, no one wanted to speak to us.

Service was speedy, food was tasty, and portions were big. Great value for the price.

Upon arrival, we were ignored by the host for a good 5 mins. We had to ask BELLA if we seat ourselves. She then continued to count her money. Then answered our question after she was done counting. She then asked if we were checking in? Obviously.. she ruined the whole experience here for us.

Horrible experience, started with making the reservation over the phone. Hostess or whoever takes reservations was very rude and pretty much just hung up on me before I was done talking. Same experience from the hostess when we arrived. Got seated at our tepppan yaki table and the server seemed annoyed with us already for some reason. My girlfriend ordered a sushi and was served the wrong one. My ny steak was mostly all fat. The cook never said a word other than I would like my stk cooked. It was our anniversary dinner and we decided to try this Location. This experience has us not coming back to this location.

We went for lunch on 1/29/25 and unfortunately for just 2 of us, we had a new cook..3 months working there, young man..but he just didn't get it right. The rice was so dry and so much garlic..could not eat. Everything with way to much garlic!!
I finally told him, "No, Garlic on my chicken..
Not good at all, but still tipped him

OMG!!! Highly recommend Olivia for your waiter!!! Good service and food. The fish are so COOL and I love the little crab!! So I named it Crambo :)

Parking: I don’t know the number of spots there, but I do know that the parking is good depending on the day!

Kid-friendliness: All of the food is kid friendly! And the waiter (Olivia) she gave my son’s ice cream!

Wheelchair accessibility: You’re able to access the door and able to sit, but if you want to sit down you might have to move some chairs :)

We came in with a large party of 13 at 7:30 PM, expecting a fun and smooth experience, but it was anything but that. It took over an hour for the chef to even come out to start cooking (8:47 PM to be exact). To make matters worse, two chefs went to a table that arrived after us and started cooking for them first!

We asked management what was going on, and it took them an unacceptable 30 minutes to finally address the situation. By that time, the experience was already ruined. The lack of organization and customer service was appalling. I would not recommend this place if you value your time or expect even basic courtesy.

I ordered dinner from Sakura Chaya in Clovis on my way home. When I picked up the order, I asked the cashier if there was ugnagi sauce in the bag or if I had to order one separately. She advised that there is one in the bag. I went home, and I was shocked to find no sauce in the container. I ate 2 pieces but it didn't enjoy it. I called the restaurant and explained to them what had happened. I advised that I was discarding the sushi roll and asked if they could remedy the situation for me. The manager Liana shared that it should have been in the bag and that the sushi chef made an error. She shared she could put me down for a free sauce for my next visit but couldn't refund the roll. So I waisted my time, money, and appetite.
