Although I feel like they are slightly overpriced, the quality is good with a decent selection. Not my favorite sushi place in town but a solid choice.

I’ve been ordering from Sashimi Express for over 15 years. I love their sushi. Better yet , the owners are the nicest people you will ever meet. Excellent service. Try them out.

Parking: Dinner hour may cause one to park a little further out but still not bad.

As a family we always enjoy coming here. Great food, variety, and bento boxes. I recommend their sushi.

Staff are friendly and super helpful! I have celiac disease (gluten / wheat) and I was able to get a large Bento Box. Delicious. Great value for the amount of food you get!
Dietary restrictions: Staff is super willing to answer questions. I have celiac disease (gluten / wheat / barley / rye) and I could comfortably and safely place my order. Avoid imitation crab and talk through the menu. They have gluten free soy sauce and gluten free teriyaki sauce. No separate menu -- hopefully someday!

We always go here for our sushi if we can. people are kind, the owner is around often. Even gave us some mochi once on my daughter's birthday. The prices are great for what you get, which is a reason we always go. Price compared to quantity and quality. to us, some of the best around. But not somewhere I'd take a first date, unless of course you love nicely priced sushi. We will go back!

The truth is, it's the first time I've gone and I liked the service, as well as how the people who are cooking serve you.

When we lived in California, we used to frequent this place and they had good food and service. A few years later, we came back and the service has gone south. First of all, we had to place our order at the counter, pay for it, then go sit at a table. We are good tippers and we tipped handsomely for the food. What we didn't realize was that, we also had to go pick up our food at the counter. The food, atmosphere, and service combined was definitely not how it used to be! New management perhaps? Never again.

Second time eating here. The small bento box hit all the boxes. Salmon, brown rice, soup, shrimp tempura and a drink. Wife had a roll which was also excellent. The shrimp tempura was outstanding. Staff were very friendly and

My husband and I stopped in for post Christmas shopping around 7:45 last night. We were the only ones in there and it made for a lovely, quiet dining experience. The staff was very friendly and helped us narrow down what we wanted to order. The menu wasn't humongous, which was nice, as in our experience most sushi restaurants have so much it makes choosing anything a battle. I also really liked that they offered half rolls of sushi instead of the whole rolls. It makes it a lot easier to try different things without filling up too much.I got the seaweed salad, half a ruby roll and the salmon sashimi. My husband ordered a REALLY spicy roll and a full crispy onion roll. We also got some of the drinks in the fridge at the front.Everything was really good and the food was served to us cafeteria style after about 15 minutes, with the plates and chopsticks etc. on a big tray. I liked how low key it felt, as neither of us were really in the mood for pomp and circumstance. It was only at the end of the meal once everything had been eaten that I wished I had taken a photo to post with this review. My husband raved about the spicy roll he got, as many places are a let down with their spice levels. He had tears running down his face and got the hiccups at the end of that roll and loved every second. My favorite was the salmon sashimi - very consistent mouth feel and great mild flavor. The ruby roll had a bit of heat too, but that was the ideal level of spice for me.Their drink selection was great too - definitely try the creamy melon soda and white peach black tea!We noticed they offered catering and grabbed a slip for it and the pricing is fantastic so we're definitely planning on coming back in February for our oldest daughter's birthday dinner.Long story short - if you're looking for good sushi, fair prices and a low key atmosphere don't sleep on Sashimi Express.

This place is awesome. for one, "offer nothing unique" is WAY off. First, it is one of the only places locally that uses real crab meat, 2 they have a beer bar on tap with a giant octopus on it hand painted by the owners wife, 3 I have been here when they have gaming comps going on. now that I think of it 4! they do this spicy sushi roulette that is a try full of normal sushi and has one FILLED with wasabi. This place is for sure unique.
